Lucas seemed to avoid him or distance himself. As if asking him about his profession was a sacrilege. They still were asked questions but he never saw Nicole. He forgot they were still under investigation until he was walking down the street and was stopped by the familiar Detective Waren. "What, I have to go to work," he said, Detective Waren stepping out his dark gray car. It was one of those advanced cars that hovered and barely made a sound when they moved. "Well aren't you in an unhappy mood. I was just wondering, do you go to the library?"

"Occasionally, they're the only place where I can get a free book and some peace and quiet, why do you ask,"

"An account was made that depicted nude photos of Nicole, you remember her, along with all the letters she wrote and the trinkets she had. It looked like armature shots but then again, any photographer can do that but my question is why bother post love letters? You already posted the nude pictures,"

"You? Are you implying that I made up some website and posted nude photos of Nicole? Don't kid yourself, I don't waste my time with mentally unstable people, especially her, I have better things to do with my time-,"

"That's what I thought but then again...she would be interfering with your time with her constant nagging of someone you barely talk to...so how come? How come make up something to ruin her so terribly when he could just ignore her?"

"You are asking questions you already have the answers to but tell me Detective Waren, how would you squash a pest that was bothering manly one person but was infecting the entire group in other ways possible? But then, no one wants to actually do the work?" he inquired, Detective Waren tilting his head. "When you figure that out, then you can nag me but until then, I have to get to work, I always have the perfect attendance record and performance," he said turning on his heels and walking to work. He is not much interesting, he thought for some reason. I wonder if I get to see my brother again, he thought. He was deep in thought the entire time he was working. "Hey, hows the eye? You look good as new," said his boss. "Yes, I heal rather quickly, but it still hurts like hell," he said with a yawn. "Hell lover-boy, look what I found in your mailbox,"

"Do not say that, that imply I have a crush on someone,"

"Well do you?"

"No, why would you say that," he said when she held up a small red box of chocolate and a letter with it. He blinked and stared at that, unsure if he wanted to even eat it. "I found this in your mail-box, been in there for a couple days now. So go ahead and open it," she said waving the letter in his face. He took the letter and opened it. "Read it out loud," giggled Bella,

"To my angel afar, I have been watching you ever since you've arrived. Your personality has changed so much since the last I saw you. You are radiant like the sun and so pure it's so hard to keep staring. I hope one day when you fly you'll fly back into my arms and together we can create nothing but disasters together, one day I will come for you when the time is right and make myself known, but for now, we I shall just be a distance spec among the rest around you. Your second half. P...what...the...hell," he said, Bella breaking out laughing, holding her stomach. He opened the box to find a whole bunch of cookies, various arrays but it seemed to be handmade. "Um...I have a stalker..." he said, the boss snatching one of the cookies from the box and taking a bite. "Well, at least he's a good baker," grinned the boss. He took the heart shaped iced-cookie and took a bite. "Oh wow, these are awesome," he whispered rubbing his jaw. For some reason he wanted to eat the whole entire box, which he did through-out the rest of his work, re-reading the letter.

He carried the box and letter home. "What's wrong with you,"

"I got a secret admirer who knows how to bake," he said, placing the letter into his small black box along with the box heart. He stretched and sat on the edge of his bed. "We're going out to eat, you okay to hold down the fort?"
