Hey y'all! I just wanted to talk a little bit on why my fam celebrates Easter; keep in mind not everyone believes in what my family does, so I'm not trying to force anything at all!

(I understand not everyone are Christians so you can skip)

I am a Christian (don't come at me). Jesus Christ, was really somewhat put on "trail," when I said trail I mean that he was pushed in front of the crowd and asked what his "punishment" should be.  Pontius Pilate (Rome governor at the time) made the final decision to crucify Jesus. Christ, had to carry a 100 lb-300 lb (according to Wikipedia) cross up a whole 600 meter mountain while being beaten. At this time he also wore a crown of thorns and was constantly mocked. He could barely go on, so a man named Simon helped him carry it for the rest of the way. After he was crucified, he was  "announced dead," Jesus was placed into a tomb. (They poked a stick into the guy to test the color of the blood and stuff) on the 3rd day (today) he was no where to be seen in his tomb. The guards in guarding his tomb were shocked, because Jesus risen, opening the gates of heaven.

So that's why us Christians celebrate Easter, and yet again NOT EVERYONE IS CHRISTIAN. I was just sharing about my religion and you can skip if you want idrc. Anyways for everyone, no matter why you celebrate it, have a wonderful day, and HAPPY EASTER.
