We got into bryce's car and drove around until we reached a pole. You don't see these phones out anymore, but in the area they left one available. I slowly dialed the number in and took a deep breath. It slowly rang, each ring giving me more butterflies in my stomach. The ring ended when I heard a voice.
"Hello?! Who is this," my mom's voice echoed throughout my head. I took another deep breath, and replied.
"Hey mom, how are you?" I said a little bit shaky. I was nervous, but I just tried to continue.
"Oh my god! Are you ok?!? Where are you?!? Do you need he-" I instantly cut her off.
"Mom, I'm fine," I said trying to calm her down, " I know you may be worried but I'm fine. I am safe, but I have to ask you something."
"Yeah of course honey!" She said in an odd voice.
"Wh-why didn't you ever tell me I had a brother?" I was on the urge of crying, I just couldn't stand that they have never told me.
"Oh honey, i knew you were gonna find out someway," she said as she sighed loudly. "I-"
"No, mom! All I ever wanted is a sibling! The one thing that I ever really wanted you never told me about?!?" I yelled slamming the phone into the pole.
"I can't believe her, she has the nerve not to tell me I had a older brother! Like that's all I ever dreamed of!" I yelled, then I felt long arms wrap around me. Bryce brung me into a hug. He just comforted me in a good way.
"It's ok, I feel you,"he finally let go and told me to stay here.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, please stay here," he said walking away. I just shrugged and kind of walked around in small circles. I was in the middle of one circle when I heard a noise. I quickly snapped my head towards the sound, and gulped when I saw payton. He ran over to me and put his hand over my mouth.
"Don't say anything!" He said clenching his jaw very tightly. I started to get dragged away, and tears started pouring out of my eyes.
