Trapped by sway

My final escape

I was awoken by a nightmare I had. It was about my family, being killed because I don't do what I was supposed to. I then noticed a small window in my room. I got up quietly and examined it. I came to the conclusion that I was able to fit through. I know... who ever is reading probably thinks I'm psycho for trying again, but you know what they say "Never give up!"

    I grabbed a Bobby pin and picked the lock in it. I gently lifted it open, pushing the screen out. I started my way out, realizing that I may actually be able to do this. Luckily it was the middle of the night so I have a few hours before they start searching for me.

    I finally slipped out. I started running, and running. I saw police car, I ran there and begged for help. He looked at me and realized I was the girl that has been missing for the past week. He told me to get into his car, so I did.

   It has been a few hours when I was home. We knocked on the door, and my parents answered, I could tell they have not got any sleep in a couple days. They rubbed their eyes and hugged me tightly. I was home... finally.

   We all got some sleep, and the next morning the police came to investigate. They asked me question for a while, and it was hard. They have finally left.

    I was happy. I heard a knock on the door. I slowly opened it, and saw the police.

    "May we talk to you parents?" They asked kindly, and I just nodded. After a while my parents came and got me. They said to sit on the couch while the police explained.

   "We may have found a few suspects for this report!" He said cheerfully, "we need you to be honest!" He motioned them to come in. The cops came in, and they bring the sway boys in.

    "Do you recognize these people?" He asked. I wanted to say yes, but I shook my head no. I have no idea why I'm standing up for them but I am.

    "No sir," I said while looking into the boy's eyes, "I believe that they were older." The sway boys looked at me like I was crazy for doing this, and I was! Officer Ken (his name lol) just motioned them back out, and on the way out kio smiled. And I just smiled back. Yet I don't know why. I mean they literally took me away from my family, AND HURT ME, but I still stood up for them.
