"I will be staying in France as the hiatus is ongoing to support my family and help with royal duties as a future heiress to the throne-"

Haruto dropped the remote as he watched Eunhye's statement being aired on TV for the first time. His mouth parted open in shock after hearing what she just said.

"France..." He muttered to himself.

A huge wave of panic and concern hit him and it made him frantic. He got his phone and opened all the apps that he had contact to Eunhye. She was still logged out from them all and there were no new messages or delivered signs at all. His hands were shaking in nervousness and he was fighting back the tears forming in his eyes.

Without even thinking, he stood up and barged into Jihoon's room. He saw how the older member was sitting on the edge of his bed, watching the same thing as him. Jihoon looked up at Haruto and pushed his hair back in distress.

"Yeah, I'm watching it too." He lowly said.

Haruto shut the door and fell to his knees, shocking Jihoon at his actions. "Hyung... I know it sounds desperate but help me..." He looked at him with teary eyes.

Jihoon avoided his gaze, not wanting to see how hurt Haruto was. "Y-You need to stop her from leaving. She can't leave..." He couldn't stop himself anymore and tears started falling from his eyes.

The older member didn't know what to say. He shut off his phone and sighed. "Haruto, we both know I can't do that." He sadly said.

"Yes you can, you're her friend... you can stop her and tell her that she can just stay here and-"

"I can't okay? If she wants to leave then she will, like you said I'm her friend. Just her friend, I'm not someone who can influence her major decisions in life cause in the end it's still on her."

"Can't you try?" He pleaded.

Jihoon sighed in distress. "I don't want to."

Haruto looked at him with hurt in his eyes. He couldn't utter a word cause of the amount of pain he felt. Because of this, Jihoon felt guilty.

"Look Haruto, I'm sorry but I really don't want to. This happened before and I'm not gonna do something about it again after learning my lesson." He explained.

"What do you mean it happened before?" Haruto furrowed his eyebrows.

Jihoon looked down at the floor. "Chaos spread in her life cause being a trainee took a toll on her mental health. With the help of her mom she got to talk to their manager, the manager announced to all the trainees that she'll be leaving, me and our friends tried stopping her, and boom she still left like we didn't do a single thing. Not even a single goodbye was said."

The memory was a bit painful to think of for him, making him sigh in distress. "She came back after 6 months and apologized to us. We couldn't resist her of course and forgave her cause she said she's not gonna leave us again. Look at where we are now."

Haruto sniffled and thought that maybe it'll be just like before, maybe she'll come back and he won't have to worry.

"And besides, why are you asking me? Shouldn't you do it cause you thought of it?"

"I don't know, I thought of asking you first cause you said you loved her." Haruto was now the one avoiding his gaze.

Jihoon's eyes widened and he chuckled. "Woah woah wait, that's in past tense form right? The fact that it's in past tense means it was from before."

"Yeah but who knows maybe you're just like, I don't know, saying that cause of me?" Haruto shrugged.

Jihoon laughed. "You must be crazy! I have Indigo now, she's the actual love of my life. Besides, first loves are bound to separate."

The younger member glared at him. "Wow, thanks for giving me that statement when I'm literally going to be separated from her." He wiped his cheeks.

"So... you're telling me she's your first love?" Jihoon asked in curiosity.

"Uh..."

"You're in love with her." Jihoon said.

Haruto felt nervous with what he just said. "A-Are you mad?"

Jihoon fell silent for a few seconds. "No, why would I? There's no reason to." He said. "You know, if you love her that much you can try to take action and tell her how you feel about her leaving. It's just that sometimes you need to accept the fact that she needs to distance herself at times even if it means being miles away from you."

Haruto sighed and nodded his head. "What do you think I should do?"

"Gosh, I just told you and you're asking me again? Go to your room and figure it out, my goodness." Jihoon sassily said.

Haruto chuckled. "Alright sorry, thanks hyung."

"No worries, I hope you never enter my room in such a dramatic way again." Jihoon waved him off.
