Everything started rosy that day. Sun burst so lovely at six in the morning, tracking every white clouds on the blue skies. Birds sung in high praises of her morning glow. Wind blew mildly, combing her hair softly. Rose painted the room pink.

Rosy.

It's started rosy but as the minutes ticking away from the scheduled hour, her vision is turning grey.

"One hour late…." the blonde man at her right spoke under his breath in gritted teeth. He looked into his antique watch, shook his head and stared back at her. "Are you sure he's still coming?"

"He promised me…." she responded. That answer started confidently earlier. Her stomach started to churn.

It's not happening.

"And how many times did he broke promises to you?" her brother asked again. The guy standing in his black suit with orange tie she gifted. It's for that special day.

"Give him a chance…."

"Its been an hour… What are you doing to yourself?" her brother cut.

"Cut her some slack," the other blonde guy cut softly on her left.

"I'm going to kill that man…." her brother warned.

"If I am her brother," the man on her left spoke again. "I will never let him date my sister."

"Could you please stop?" she finally spoke and changed the weight of herself from left to right feet. She's been standing there over an hour waiting for that man. Even if her maid of honor told her not to get out of that Rolls-Royce the man rented for that day. He rented that Rolls-Royce, he gave her the whole control of the planning and all the price it brought. Now he's not turning up.

"Liam shouldn't be trusted on this…." the man on the left said. "He's sabotaging everything…."

"Or…" her brother breathe deeply instead of continuing that speech. He shook his head again, "I'm taking care of the guest."

She stared up to that blue eyes of her brother, "What do you mean?"

"Mari….." her brother sighed as he turned to stand with might on her. "Admit it to yourself he's not coming…."

"Look, something might gone wrong," the other man defended. "He love Mari.…."

Her brother lifted his brow, "Is that love enough? Because we all trying to call him since earlier and he's not responding."

"The more reason why we need to think that there's something….." the guy stopped and looked at her nervously. "Something wrong happened."

"Well I'm going to smack his face in something hard, that will going to happen," her brother glared and turned to talk to other guest.

"Mari…."

"I know he's your friend that's why you're defending him," she cut that apologetic sounding word of the guy. "My brother is right, he might've got cold feet."

"You know its not true," the guy insisted. "I'll go to Carl and we will start calling precints or whatever…."

"No…" she shook her head and breathe deeply. She looked up, to stopped that tears lurking on her eyes.

"I think its time for us to stop waiting," she said at last and started to descent the bricked stairs outside of that church.

She heard a lot of calling of her name as she threw her rose bouquet and the veil.

Tok tok tok.

That's the sound of her shoes, accompanying the rhythm of her broken heart. Her vision started to blur and her brain started narrating where it all begun.
