She's never been that thankful of Billie's line of work. Mari's bestfriend was a promodizer, going around town with a new product that was mostly new vehicles or gadget. That means the sexy woman got many flamboyant yet proper looking clothing. That morning, she accompanied the too excited Billie as they rummage on the latter's dresser.

From Primo's card, she bought last time two kinds of pencil skirt. One black and another grey yet on different lengths. Those are chosen so that she can have plenty of blouses that easily mix and match that to those skirts. Primo helped her to chose seven kinds of new blouses and then two dresses. One of those was that yellow dress that she needs to park because of Evan's hepa comment. Then Billie made some adjustments on her slacks. Slacks can be hippy too if mixed with the right blouse but what she needed that time was a bright blouse for her pencil skirt. She thought her blouses were not that bright enough so she looked into Billie's but she can't find the right blouse that would fit her right. Billie's a tall girl that's why. Then Billie suddenly screamed in victory when she found a fuschia V neck blouse after a million misses. It fits her well although the end was longer but it can be easily tucked in her skirt.

"I'm going to take you two to a fancy diner with my payout," she promised as she folds her sleeves to three fourths

"Nah," Primo said while waving his hand impassively. He just came back from his shift when he found them rummaging and now leaning on the door jamb. "Save everything. You'll treat us to a fancy bar when you got that regular shit"

"I told you, Evan Wolfe is jerk," Billie said in annoyance. "Why do you need his approval? Even garbage bag will look great on you"

"Aw, thanks best." She gathered her hands on her chest like praying, "I would kiss you only I don't want to mess my lipstick right now. Which by the way you put earlier"

"That is a great beak by the way," Primo commented, pointing at her face.

Of course Evan just scoffed at her when he walked to that hallway towards his office that morning. She readied everything, thinking that the guy will dragged her again the moment she walked in but he stayed at his enclosure for two hours.

"He will never spent even a little hours for you," Stef said. The fake blonde stopped at her workstation from wherever just to say that.

She sniggered, "And he will look at you because you're blonde. Don't worry I know." Stef just rolled her eyes in response and strode to her own worksation.

It was eleven in the morning when Evan came out of his office and told her to come with him. He explained that it's for meeting, saying it in much louder tone. Mari knew it's to avoid others from thinking that there's something going on between them and she's greatly appreciate that Evan did that. It turned out as lunch meeting with a dark haired forty something guy again in sleepish eyes. This time, the guy is accompanied by a high society looking woman who smiled widely when she locked eyes with the guy Mari's with.

"Vivienne, this is Mari," Evan started to introduce even if the woman's eyes still locked on him. Evan locked one of his heavy arms around her, "By the way, she's my girlfriend"

That statement changed the woman's face from smiling to staring down at her and turned it to a small smile just like what she's doing because of that introduction.

"Act or I'll fire you," the guy spoke under his breath

"Act or…" her stupid statement while taking an offered hand from Vivienne cut when Evan strong hand constricts on her neck. "I mean actor… you look like an actress"

Vivienne clasped her hands, "Oh, I'm a model when Fernando met me"

Fernando was the sleepy looking guy beside Vivienne who Evan introduced as his legal counsel. Apparently, Evan needs to change some of the contract in the franchise because he realized that Mari was right about the risk in stealing his ideas by the franchisee. Although she doesn't even know how her optimism will helped them in legal talks
