Eunjoo's POV

Ara had just left the room with one of the company staff members to go to Bang PD's office. I was left alone so I went over the choreography a few more times, although I am the top ranking trainee at the moment I still need to be able to show improvement so that I can keep that spot. I intend on doing that no matter what it takes.

Although me and Ara are really close, there is still some tension between us especially when training period and rankings come up. I have trained for a year and nine months now where as Ara has only trained for nine months.

We always try and upstage each other when we are alone in a practice room for a bit of a laugh.

I am hoping that now I am in such a high rank Bang PD will debut me soon, although that would mean leaving Ara, I just want to achieve my dream and make my parents proud.

I had just finished the choreography for the third time when the practice room door opened and Ara came rushing in.

"Eun, you will never guess what!" She exclaimed whilst running up to me, grabbing my hand and sitting me down on the sofa in the corner of our room.

"What?" I asked.

"Bang PD ... " She stopped panting for breath. "He is adding me to the group with those boys from i-land, you know the show we watched?" She replied.

"Yeah I know the show, and the boys your talking about but why are you part of it?" I questioned.

I was annoyed, why does she get to debut before me when I have trained longer and worked harder than her this whole time!!

"I-i don't know, Bang PD just told me about it, aren't you happy that I'm making my debut?" She questioned back clearly not understanding why I was acting the way I was.

"Do you know what, no I'm not happy for you. I have been here longer than you and worked so much harder. I'm the top ranking trainee for God sake that should be my spot not yours." I replied with a raised tone annoyed and frustrated with the scene that was unfolding in front of me.

Ara's POV

She wasn't happy, I get that she has been here longer than me and works hard but that doesn't mean I don't deserve this as much as she would. God I would be happy for her if it was the other way round.

"I can't believe you!" I exclaimed "I have worked just as hard as you for this , just because you have been here longer doesn't mean I don't deserve this!" I shouted back at her.

"You don't!" Eunjoo shouted back.

Before I knew it Eunjoo was running out of the practice room. I sat on the sofa by myself, everything replaying in my head. I can't believe that just happened.

There was a sudden knock on the door. I look up to be met by one of the boys from earlier. He walked in slowly and sat beside me, he placed a hand on my knee that I hadn't even noticed bouncing.

"Are you okay?" He asked in Korean, hey at least I know what that means I guess.

I nodded in response. He handed me my hoodie that was next to me as he noticed me shivering, it was also probably better that I cover up seen as I'm still in my practise clothes. He kept saying things to me which I didn't understand when he suddenly stopped talking.

"Ah I forgot you don't speak Korean yet." He mumbled to himself.

My hand was grabbed and I was pulled up out of the practice room to be met with six other faces. One boy approached me, I recognised him to be the boy who understood English.

"Hi I'm Jake." He said to me.

"Ara." I replied quietly.

"We heard shouting so we wanted to see what was happening. I'm sorry about your friend." He explained.

"That's okay." I replied.

My other hand was taken and I was pulled from the boy who was holding me into a tight hug by Jake.

I looked up to see the other boys were staring with confused faces. They must not have understood anything that had just happened.

Jungwon's POV

We were in our practice room after the meeting we had with Bang PD stretching and remembering choreography from i-land when we heard shouting from the next room.

Sunghoon went over and stopped the music that we were listening to and we all went out into the corridor to make sure everything was okay. As we got out there a female trainee ran out of the room clearly upset, she ran past us before stopping.

"I think she might have an anxiety attack, if you go in there and her knee is bouncing just put your hand on it." She said before quickly running off again.

We all stood there confused and looking at one another silently discussing who should go in there before Heeseung walked in without a word.

After a few minutes he walked back out with another trainee, this time we recognised her as Ara, our new member.

Jake walked up to her and spoke to her in her native language, as she replied we all noticed her cute accent, she was pulled into a hug by Jake and we all stood there very confused as to what has happened and is happening now.

"Jake hyung, shall we take her to our practice room, we should get to know her and maybe cheer her up?" I asked.

Jake nodded his head and without a word we walked back into our practice room. When we got in we sat in a circle. It was a bit awkward at first seen as we didn't really know Ara very well but when we started talking it seemed to get easier.
