"Just take the fucking gun, Louis."

"You know I don't want to kill anyone, Zayn."

"It's just in case. You won't need to use it, no one will even be there."

He still hesitated, but gave in with a deep sigh. This wasn't his first robbery, and he knew all too well it was important to be prepared in case there was someone inside.

"Why can't I just take my usual pocket knife?" Louis asked as he closed his sports bag and put the strap over his neck on his shoulder.

"You know this is a bigger case. It's more dangerous, we just need to be able to defend ourselves. We probably won't even need to use it."

Louis never brought a gun to a robbery, as he didn't want to kill anyone. He never even hurt someone with his knife, he just needed a weapon to threaten someone if, only if they'd be caught.

"I know, but don't expect me to actually shoot someone, because I won't."

"I know. Let's just go, alright? It's almost midnight."

"You're sure they're on vacation right?"

"I'm sure."

Zayn laid a floor plan out on the table. You could recognise a house attached to the chocolate factory the man that they were going to rob owned.

"So, we break into the factory back door, there's only one camera we need to avoid here." He pointed his finger to a camera icon on the paper that he circled in red.

"It's the only door without alarm, via this door we should get into the warehouse. If we avoid every motion sensor, we should be able to get to the door that gives us access to his house. There we do our usual part. We pick anything valuable and get out."

"Right. Okay, let's go, you have the bag with the tools right?"

"Yup. Louis, you realise this dude is rich, right? I bet his wife has millions worth of jewellery." Zayn smirked.

"I know. We won't have to steal anything for like a month. This is amazing." He said enthusiastically while they headed outside Louis' small house right outside of London.

As the good street runners they were, they climbed via the downspout on the roof of their own home and started jumping over roofs and balconies until they reached the centre of London.

As they entered the city they walked in silence down the empty streets.

They gave each other a mischievous glance before Zayn led them into a dark alley that would lead to the back door of the factory where they were going to break into.

As Zayn pointed to a camera that was pointed towards the other side of the alley of where they were standing, he held his hands together in front of him.

Louis got the message and put his foot on Zayn's hands. He stood up until he could reach the camera. Zayn handed him a towel, which he tied tightly around the camera so there was absolutely no way it still had a view.

Louis jumped off his hands and they walked further through the alley until they were in front of a door.

"Hold this for a second." Zayn whispered to him as he held out a bradawl.

He took it and watched Zayn get out a crowbar from his black sports back, similar to his own empty one.

The tattooed lad placed the end of the crowbar behind the edge of the old door and took the bradawl from Louis.

"Ready?"

"Ready" Louis whispered back and gave him a nod.

Zayn placed the bradawl also between the door, but at the height of the lock and gave Louis a last nod before putting pressure on it and pulling at the crowbar until the lock broke with a loud cling and the door cracked open.

They smiled at each other once again and looked into both sides of the empty alley before going in and quietly closing the door again.

The room was dark but clear enough to see a person's face if he was close enough.

Louis smirked badly at Zayn, knowing they were doing wrong, but would have what they wanted. Again.

"We're in."

Zayn handed Louis a flashlight before putting on his own.

The room was huge, they were in the warehouse.

"Where are the sensors you spoke about?"

Zayn just looked around and frowned, he checked the wall closest to them before stepping over to a small office inside the big storage room.

Louis followed, confused, and saw Zayn fiddling with a machine that seemed to control all electric security.

Zayn always did the electric security. Louis knew nothing of it, he was the pickpocket. Together they could break into every house as Zayn could always hack into the security system.

"That's weird." Zayn frowned.

"What's weird?" Louis came closer and looked at the machine too, even though he didn't understand a thing he saw.

"All electric security has been shut off completely."

"Well, good work then." Louis didn't see a problem. This was perfect, they could just enter the house unnoticed and get out with their loot.

"No, I didn't do this. It has been shut off for a week."

Louis could hear a slight sense of panic in Zayn's voice, but he didn't worry too much about it.

"Okay? He probably just forgot to put it on when he left or something."

"I suppose..." Zayn didn't seem convinced, but lifted his gloved hands from the device anyway. They were no professionals, but smart enough not to leave fingerprints.

"You know the way." Louis whispered as he pointed into the dark, huge warehouse filled with enormous shelves, almost as high as the incredibly high ceiling.

Zayn nodded and took the lead between the rows of stocked goods.

They sneaked between the storage racks through the long room until they reached another door.

It led to a room just as big, but this time with gigantic machines and factory appliances, placed like a maze throughout the whole room.

Louis looked at Zayn expectantly. He nodded and walked into the right hallway between the rows. Louis followed close.

It was dead silent as they walked. They didn't care to sneak anymore as they knew the owners were gone and every electric device was shut off, until they heard a distant sound.

Zayn immediately stopped in his tracks, making Louis stop just in time not to bump into him.

"Did you hear that?" he whispered almost inaudible.

They both remained silent in order to hear the sound again, but nothing came.

"Maybe it was the wind or something." Louis whispered back.

They both frowned when they didn't hear another thing.

Louis tensed his lips and shrugged his shoulders to indicate he didn't know either.

"It's nothing, let's just go." He whispered and turned back forward.

They started walking again between the devices until a deep, slow voice behind them made them freeze.

"You were right, Liam. We have a problem."
