she pootled content
as the light faded on her
love
not knowing he was
gone
contentedly she waited
but the wait was long
she had heard his last
song

Sorry, this one is so sad, but a bird jumped out of a hedge into my car last week, when the traffic was busy. The guy behind was so close I couldn't do an emergency stop for the bird without causing injury to people. I can't get over it.
