Wren is the smallest bird in the uk, a small, soft, round, brown bird with flitting movement, and a perky tail. Agile, quick, discreet, discerning. Wren is king of the birds in Celtic lore. Loving ivy, with it's evergreen eternal connotations, Wren is humble, worth watching and waiting for, but glimpsed more by Wren's design than mine.
(He was here this morning, finding spiders in tiny corners, and taking late greenfly from the last tangle of sweet peas.)
