"Shirtless and scared shitless"

Gerard's POV

I looked around, desperate for something else to focus on. I fixated on the back wall, and picked up the designs with heavy breathing. Glad he didn't comment on my blatant fixation with his bare skin, I perched on a chair a healthy distance away from Frank for my own sanity.

"So, uh, well these are the designs you're getting done...right?" I stumbled through the sentence and reached over to hand him a few laminated sketches.

I plucked up the courage to peek back up at him as he looked over them.

Well this just killed any doubt I had.

I definitely like men.

He was lean but breath taking, a beautifully sculpted body behind ink. His chest was littered with art, trailing down his stomach, and stopping short of his v lines. I lingered over them, a jolt of excitement flowing through me as I imagined what was just below.

Fuck.

I quickly crossed my legs, and the friction against my jeans did not help. I wrenched myself away, looking back to his face.

Thank God he hadn't noticed me eyefucking him.

His eyebrows were knitted and he looked almost disapproving over his soon-to-be tattoo.

"Frank, is uh, something wrong?"

Startled at the sudden break in silence, he set them down and shook his head.

"Don't get me wrong, it's good. It's just,"

His tounge flitted against his lip ring as he chose his words. I felt a wave of heat pulse through me.

"It's not exactly what I wanted I guess. Hayley usually gets it bang on."

He smirked a little to himself for some reason, and it was a hot thing to witness.

I cocked my head, "Wait, had you not seen the designs before you came?"

I wasn't fully aware of the procedure, but surely permentantly marking your skin required a bit more forthought than 5 minutes before you were being stabbed by the needle?

He shook his head again, "Nah man."

Hang on. He took the only day he had off in months to come in for a tattoo he'd never even seen?

He chuckled when I didn't respond, "I told Hayley the idea, and trusted her with the rest, like always."

This is just perfect. Hayley wasn't even here to tweak the design.

He grabbed his shirt and tossed it over his head. I became aware of how I was bordering on hyperventilation, and tried to control it. Frank noticed too, and his smile faultered.

"Hey, don't worry, uh, Gerard is it?"

I nodded, refusing to acknowledge just how good my name sounded rolling off his tounge.

"I think I'll just have to leave it for today, no big deal."

Bob was not going to be happy.

"Yeah, okay, that's fine," I knew I was nodding too much, but I had no idea what to do besides blindly agree.

"Yeah, it's just this one means alot to me, so I think I'll wait till it's perfect."

I was like a fucking bobblehead.

"See you then." Frank got off the bench and walked away, giving me a small wave.

"Sorry you came all this way for no tattoo," I apologized, waving back.

He stopped just shy of the door.

"Wait." He spun round, "How fast would you be able to pull together something?"

I stared blankly as his face lit up.

"Oh fuck yeah!" He exclaimed, "I mean I may aswell get something while I'm here?"

He lifted up his shirt and traced a gap uncovered by ink, "And I've been thinking of getting new one here on my chest. Bet you could do something rad! Why didn't I think of this sooner?"

I did not know what to say.

"You want me to design you a tattoo?"

He grinned.

"Me? The guy who's been on the job for all of 6 hours?" I laughed, daunted, but highly flattered, that Frank Iero would trust me with the fate of his skin.

"6 hours or 6 seconds, I could not care. You're really talented. What do you say?"

My brain had already generated 18 scenarios in which this goes desperately wrong, and Frank walks out of here disappointed, hating me for eternity.

No. I couldn't do this.

His eyes were begging me, and his pink lips were pursed ever so slightly.

Absolutely not.

"Please?"

All I wanted to do was see those lips light up into a smile for me.

No. Don't you dare.

"Yeah, okay."

Short little update.

Is it better to stick more to Gerard's POV, Frank's POV or switch?
