Hey guys!
Here I am with Chapter TWENTY-ONE:)
ENJOY!
Harry was on his way to the Sky Sport TV studio where he was asked to fill in for one of the other journalists who called out sick.
Even though Harry loved working from home, working at the studio with the rest of his colleagues was always nice.
Harry loved collaborating with everyone and just being in a creative environment like that made him feel really good.
When he first started journalism, Harry didn't expect to be a football journalist. He actually wanted to go into something with politics, but when he got an internship with Sky Sports he couldn't turn it down.
Harry just wanted the experience, but after spending a year with them he fell in love with the crew there and they really became a family. They eventually offered him a full-time job and of course he took it.
Before he and Louis had kids, he was a full-time journalist on-air and was one of the main football anchors. Harry absolutely loved it, but eventually he decided to give all that up and work more behind the scenes when Beckham was born.
Louis tried to talk him out of it but Harry already made up his mind. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with his kids and he couldn't do that if he was working every day.
When Harry walks into the building he immediately greets the security guards like always and says hi to Laura, the secretary at the front desk.
"You're looking beautiful today Laura." Harry smiles at her. "Did you dye your hair?"
"Just added some highlights," she said brightly, flipping her hair. "Thanks for noticing."
"Looks amazing on you darling. So where's my partner in crime?"
"Nick's in his dressing room getting ready, which you should be doing by the way. It's almost time for you guys to go on air."
Harry looks at his watch and winces. "Shit you're right. I'll see you later Laura!" he yells as he sprints down the hall to his own dressing room.
After a few minutes in hair and makeup, Harry was finally done and was out on the set, reviewing the content him and Nick were going to talk about.
"Alright Styles, let's get to work!" Nick claps his hands loudly, as he finally comes out of his dressing room.
"Finally," Harry sighs. "How did I finish before you when I got here half an hour late?"
"Well I'm sorry that we can't all have perfect skin and gorgeous hair like you Harry." Nick sticks out his tongue childishly.
Harry rolls his eyes and makes his way over to the desk that they use for the show. He takes a seat in his rolling chair, letting himself get comfortable.
The lights were all up, making him sweat a little, but it was just fueling his excitement.
Harry missed this. There was always something so special about stepping in front of a camera and knowing thousands of people were watching you.
That might seem a bit daunting to some people, but for Harry he thrived under all the attention.
Harry watches their producer, Penelope, rush around making sure everything was in place, while yelling something into her mic to the tech guys. It seemed a bit chaotic, but that was showbiz.
"I love this job." Nick sighs contently as he leans back into his chair.
Harry couldn't agree more.
