3 MONTHS LATER

Louis was officially moving back in, and not just in the guest house. He was moving back in their house.

Even though they've only been dating for 3 months, Harry and Louis were more than ready to move things along. Harry was actually the one to suggest that Louis should move back in, since they've been sleeping back in their bed again anyway.

The kids obviously were all on board with the whole idea, even volunteered to help move Louis's things, which their parents obviously didn't object to.

Harry was just going through some of Louis's old stuff, sorting it in their room. Most of it was old junk like forgotten articles of clothing or broken random charging cables. Occasionally Harry would find newspaper clippings that Louis had cut out from over the years that highlighted his career, which Harry made sure keep so he could frame them later.

There was one last box left to unpack and Harry sighs in relief. His back was starting to cramp up, and his bum was going numb from sitting on the ground.

As he opens it, it was like all the other boxes except that there was a smaller wooden box inside.

Harry carefully takes it out and places it in front of him on the floor. He hesitates for just a minute before letting his curiosity get the better of him.

He flips open the box and a smile grows on Harry's face as he looks at the contents that were hidden inside.

It seemed to be some sort of memory box, but it was only filled with pictures of Harry and Louis.

Harry takes each one and studies them closely. Each picture showed a glimpse of happy memories within their lives, that Harry remembers vividly. Once Harry gets to the last one, he notices two rings sitting at the bottom of the box.

One was their wedding ring and the other, was his engagement ring.

Harry carefully lifts what was once his engagement ring and holds it in his palm. He remembers giving it back to Louis after the divorce; remembers how empty he felt when he didn't have it.

When he holds it up to light, the emeralds in the ring still shined like the first time he laid his eyes on it.

Harry looks at the ring mesmerized, and without thinking puts it in on his ring finger.

Still a perfect fit.

While he was busy admiring the ring on his finger he doesn't hear Louis come in.

"I can't believe it still fits." Louis smiles softly at him. while he leans against the doorway.

Harry gets startled and quickly squeezes the ring off. "Um I'm sorry. I just found it in here and...wait did you just call my fingers fat?" Harry pouts.

Louis's eyes widen. "No, I-I just thought since it's been a long time that-"

"I'm kidding Lou." Harry chuckles, earning him a glare from his boyfriend.

Harry was too busy laughing that he doesn't even have time to react when Louis tackles him on the floor and starts tickling him.

"L-Lou!" Harry gasps between laughs. "Stop! P-Please!"

Louis eventually lets up, but keeps straddling Harry, preventing him from getting up.

"You're such a little shit." Louis smiles down at him, his hands planted on either side of Harry's head.

Harry wraps his arms around Louis's neck and brings him down for a kiss. "Yeah, but I'm your little shit."

Louis bites Harry's bottom lip, causing Harry to moan into his mouth.
