For the last week, Dex had followed the same routine each day. First, school, then homework, see how Hunkyhair's (who by the way had a extremely ridiculous codename) wound was healing, head home and try to keep the triplets under control (they'd been acting even more hyper than usual), get some medical studies in, and lastly only end up with about four hours of sleep. Hooray!

It was a Wednesday which in a way was great and terrible at the same time. On one side, Wednesday meant it was closer to Friday, but on the other hand Wednesday was the middle of the week.

At school, Dex was trying his best to pay attention, but he kept thinking about the whole Mysterious Cloaked Figures dilemma (yep he was totally calling it that now) and all the other things crowding his thoughts.

Dex was worried about Sophie. She'd found out a little more than a week ago that the cloaked Pyrokenetic she'd confronted at the bank was her parents' murderer. And now she was stressing about the whole prison break thing and what the cloaked people were planning.

On top of that, Dex was trying to find out along with Sophie and Hunkyhair where the cloaked figures were getting their information from. So far they'd had no luck.

To add even more to his list of stuff to worry and stress about, Dex had to focus on school, homework and his medical studies. Oh, and take care of the triplets when his parents were taking night shifts at the hospital.

All of a sudden the bell rang indicating the end of class. Dex made his way towards the lunch room and found his usual table with Sophie and Jensi.

"Hi Dex. How's it going?" Jensi asked while biting into a hot dog.

"I'm fine," Dex responded. Oh, great he was spending too much time with Hunkyhair.

Dex looked over at Sophie who was intently staring at a notebook. Her pencil hovering over it. That was the notebook where Sophie had written all the things Dex, Hunkyhair and she had found out about the cloaked people. So, that meant about one paragraph.

"Sophie?" Dex asked.

No response.

"World to Sophie," Dex said, waving his arm in front of her face.

Sophie bolted up and looked around looking confused. "Sorry what?"

"You've been staring at that notebook forever," Dex said, glancing at Jensi to see if he was paying attention to their conversation. Instead he was talking to the people sitting at the table next to them. "We're going to find something... eventually. It just takes time."

"It's been a week and we haven't found anything. I just- I can't stand knowing that there are people out there who hurt others and I don't know how to stop them. These cloaked people have elaborate plans and I don't know... what to do. I have more questions than I do answers and it's driving me crazy," Sophie said, biting her lip to keep herself from crying.

"I know. It's hard, but we're not alone in this. There are other people, such as the police, working to stop the cloak people. It's not just us," Dex said trying to reassure Sophie.

She sighed and shook her head, "You're right. I just wish I knew what to do next. I've hit a dead end and have literally no leads."

Then an idea came into Dex's mind, "Hey, you know how Hunkyhair gets information about police stuff from, who was it, Bangs Boy?
