As Tam sat on a bench across from the coffee shop, he continued to work on his most important homework. Once in a while, he stopped to take a drink of his coffee (extra caffeinated) or to see if Funkyhair had arrived. Nothing yet.

Tam finished his coffee and threw it into the trash. He then put on his face mask and hoodie, ignoring the stares of passing people.

Funkyhair chose the worst place to meet. There were too many people there, it was still too light outside, very ominous to be wearing a hoodie at a time like this.

"Why are you wearing a face mask?" came Funkyhair's voice somewhere nearby. Tam looked up and saw him approaching with two other people behind him. "Are you sick or something?"

"Sick of you," Tam answered, stuffing his homework into his bag.

Gears (at least Tam assumed it was him) said, "I already like this dude."

Whereas Moonlark began laughing.

Funkyhair looked at the both of them, "You're supposed to be on my side. Plus, the longer you spend time with him the sooner you'll be annoyed."

"Sorta like with you, then," Gears offered. This made Moonlark start laughing even more.

Funkyhair was speechless. He turned to Tam and said, "You turned them against me."

Tam held up his hands, knowing none of them could see his smile, "Hey, I didn't do anything. But honestly, you are really annoying."

"Ok, it's not 'make fun of Hunkyhair day.' We came here to talk business, Gears?" Funkyhair intervened.

"Wait, just a second," Moonlark said. She wore the same scarf from the last time she and Tam had met about two weeks ago. She also had on a hoodie (actually so did Gears and Funkyhair. Tam guessed it was a popular way to keep your face hidden.) "We should introduce ourselves. I mean I've met Bangs Boy before, but still. Ever heard of formalities before, Funkyhair?"

Funkyhair sighed dramatically, "Fiiiine. My code name is Hunkyhair, although half of you call me Funkyhair. Very rude, by the way. Ever heard of being nice, Moon and Bangs Boy?"

Moonlark rubbed her temples, "Ok, moving on. I'm a Telekinetic and Enhancer. My code name is Moonlark, although if you prefer call me Moon because according to someone," her gaze fixed on Funkyhair. "Moonlark is too long."

Funkyhair shrugged while Gears began saying, "Call me Gears. It was either that or Mouse Man, which, no. Uh, I don't even know how I got myself into this. I used to work behind the scenes, hacking cameras for S-Moon, but now I'm doing this, so... yeah."

Tam nodded, "I ended up with the idiotic codename Bangs Boy," he shot a glare at Funkyhair. "Because my bangs refused to cooperate and stay in my hood, so now I'm stuck with that codename. I'm a Shade."

"Hey, we could always go with the name Shady McSilverbangs," Funkyhair said.

Before Tam could say anything, Gears said, "Well, we better get moving. We all know each other and our weird ridiculous code names so let's move on to the important part, ok?"

Everyone nodded.

"Great," Gears said, taking out his laptop and sitting on the grass. "So, I managed to trace the tracker's signal and apparently it came from Coit Tower."

"Coit Tower?" Moonlark asked. "Didn't Lillie Hichtcock Coit's remaining fortune go to build that tower? There's also a statue in this park with three firemen, I think her money was also used to build that."
