The person who had tackled the Pyrokinetic to the ground seemed to be about her age. Sophie couldn't see his face, not only because of the hoodie he had on, but also because he seemed to fade away in the shadows.

She had to help him. He was no match for the Pyrokinetic who was twice his size and twice as strong.

The question was how?

Sophie racked her brain trying to find something to do. She felt useless just standing there doing nothing.

She looked back at the policemen. If she found a way to free them from the ring of fire maybe they could help apprehend the Pyrokinetic. Although that would put her and the other boy fighting the Pyrokinetic in risk of exposing their identities.

Once she thought about it more, she realized that one way or another they would be in danger.

She had to act now.

Sophie looked around the room for something to hurl at the Pyrokinetic, only to realize she had terrible aim and would probably bring down the boy as well.

Ugh. Why was this so hard?

Sophie was starting to panic, the pyrokinetic was starting to win over the boy and she had no idea what to do.

All of a sudden another person jumped at the Pyrokinetic's back, causing him to stumble to the ground.

This was her chance to help.

Sophie began to run towards them, ready to bring down this Pyrokinetic once and for all.

The first thing she noticed about the second mysterious person who had come in to assist the first one was that he was also a teenage boy. The second thing was that they seemed to know each other from somewhere.

"So now you decide to show up after I've done all the hard work. Huh, Funkyhair," The first one said.

"Bangs Boy can't you ever just say 'thank you'? This dude would have burnt off those bangs of yours without my help," the second boy answered. "Actually I probably should have let him. He would have been doing me a favor honestly."

The first boy growled. "Shut-"

They both stopped arguing when they noticed Sophie standing there, staring at them incredulously.

"Umm... hey. Where exactly did you come from?" asked the second boy, or as the first one called him, Funkyhair.

Sophie tried to find her words, "I- uh, was sort of-"

She was cut off by the groan of the Pyrokinetic who was slowly making his way to his feet. His hood had fallen off to reveal messy white-blondish hair. His face was old, but regal in a way. His piercing blue eyes made a shiver go down Sophie's spine.

Sophie started to panic and looked around frantically. Her eyes set on a very heavy looking book on the ground. Sophie thrust out her arms and let her Telekinesis carry the book and throw itself across the room to hit the Pyrokinetic on the head. Hard.

The Pyrokinetic looked dazed as his eyes glazed over. And then he fell to the ground with a loud thump.

Funkyhair and the other boy, known as Bangs Boy (Sophie thought it too much of a hassle to call them boy one and boy two) stared at her with wide eyes.
