As we started to walk down to warn the others. "You know this whole thing is a piece of junk. I can't believe I live here." Sid spoke as he jumped on the little ice bridge cousin Diego and Manny to tense up as I try to quickly move to pass Sid before he could do another stupid thing. The ice suddenly broke, sending the four of us down a slide like a waterfall as I clawed into the Ice to try and slow me down. "You see? This is exactly what I am talking about. Giant balls of fury lava raining from the sky," some armadillo said before Manny got up to talk to the people around. "Listen to him. He's right about the flood."
"I am, I mean, yes, I am," the armadillo said before someone in the crowd spoke, "Wait a minute. you're the one who said there wasn't going to be a flood. Why should we listen to you?" "Because we saw what's up there. The dam is going to break and the whole valley is going to flood." The mammals then started to laugh at that. 'Are they really going to ignore a possible crisis warning,' I thought as a buzzard confirmed what Manny said and pointed out that we are surrounded by walls which caused panic to arise.
"Unless you can make it to the boat on the other end of the valley." the mammals had some doubt before he continued. "So y'all better hurry cause, grounds melting, walls tumblin', rocks crumbin'. If you survive that then you will be racing the water. And in three days time it will hit the geyser field," he said, continuing to terrify everyone. "But don't worry there is some good news though. The more of you die the better i eat." this earned gasps from everyone around him. "What, I didn't say the good news for you." He finished before leaving. "Eeh he must have been a real pleasure to have in class," Sid mentioned before some ice fell off of the wall.
The people around us started to run and scream as they tried to avoid the ice from crushing them. "Alright you heard the scary vulture, it's time to move out," Manny said as the people listened. "Manny do you really think there's a boat," Diego asked with some uncertainty. "I don't know but if there's any hope it's that way." with that being said we all started to walk. But it seemed like Manny was looking at something. "Manny let's go." "What were you wooking at?" I asked as Manny picked me up so we could catch up with the others. "Nothing you need to worry about." I simply rolled my eyes at this. "Well then why did you look suspi-suspfiouswy at the ice."
"Because I can." with that he dropped me on the ground as we went with the crowd. We saw several mammals preparing to get to the boat in the most efficient way possible. While others were having some trouble to the point that some hedgehog kids were writing to get their grandfather out of their living space. As Manny was focused on keeping all the mammals on track as Sid came up to where Manny was. "Manny I heard that you were going extinct."
"Hey master of personal hygiene, try to work a little more on sensitivity," Diego said in reply to Sid as we pass them. After manny Firmly said that a family of armadillos came and ogled at him being the last mammoth. "See." "Sid you reawwy need to take a hint and shut up," I say to him as he started to walk with me and Diego. "Why?" "Because it wiww end up getting you kiwwed." I finished as Sid frowned at me. "You know I am starting to think that letting Diego watch over you was a bad idea," Sid said as Diego rolled his eyes.
After a while Sid started to sing songs about Manny's species going extinct "Sid I am going to fall on you again and this time I will kill you." Manny said having enough of Sids singing. As me and Diego were walking up ahead, "Wike I said he is going to get himsewf kiwwed." "And your obsession with water will get you killed...what?" Diego asked as I gave him a look when he made that comment. "Nothing just thinking that you're just a big scaredy-cat," I said as I sped up. "Listen here brat I am not a scaredy-cat." "Sure..." I said before bolting toward the crowd of mammals while hearing Diego call my name.
After what seemed to be a couple of minutes I noticed that Dego, Manny, And Sid stoped, when i got over there we heard a lowd sond that sounded like a mammoth. Manny then started to run towards the sound, unintentionally throwing Sid onto his back. I was struggling to keep up with them as I slid underneath a tree that fell. By the time I got there, Manny was walking away from the group and two Possums spit pebbles at Sid and Diego through reeds, I went to go find manny. "Manny?..." He turned around and faced me with this look on his face. "What is it?"
"Are you ok?" He smiled sadly before picking me up. " Yea, I will be Fine, Just sad that I am the last mammoth," He replied as he looked at his reflection. "Weww that's okay because you're not awone. You have me, Diego, and Sid." "I suppose you're right." He said sadly. "Weww, i don't know about you but my first memory what you and that wiww awways make you family to me because you were there since the beginning to me." "I suppose you're right... Come on let's get back to the others." he said with his eyes slightly teary before setting me back on the ground after a quick hug. As we turned around to head back a mammoth fell from a tree, scaring me and Manny. "I knew it, I knew I wasn't the only one,"
"Me too. Everyone falls out of a tree sometimes they just don't emit it, by the way, my name's Ellie" The female mammoth said confusing me and Manny. Then the more Manny questioned her the more confused Manny and I got.
We then heard someone call for help as two possums from earlier ran and hid behind Ellie to get away from Diego and Sid. "Well, Shave me and call me a mole-rat. You found another mammoth." Sid said as the lady looked around not realizing he was talking about her. We all just stared at her before she spoke, "what are you looking at me for."
"I don't know maybe because you're a mammoth," Manny said as the lady thought we were messing with her. "Me? Don't be ridiculous. I'm not a mammoth, I'm a possum." She said and I just shook my head. "Right and I'm a newt, this is my friend the badger, The saber-toothed squirrel he is watching over. And my other friend, the platypus." Manny sarcastically responded while Sid complained about why he was the platypus.
Ellie was not amused at this response as the two possums went onto her tusks and called her their sister. This went into another situation and she was still trying to convince us she was a possum. After he and Sid talked a bit, Sid walked up to them and asked if they would want to come with us. "We'd rather be road kill." one of the possums said as he marched up to Diego. "That can be arranged." Ellie then pulled the two possums away to talk as Manny and Sid got into a mini argument. "my brothers and I would be happy to join you."
"Only if you treat us nicely." one of the brothers said walking up to Diego and Diego growling. "See that, that's not nice."
"Maybe we will have a little snack before we hit the road," Diego said before turning around as one of the possums landed on his face, and when Sid tried to help the other used their tail as a whip to keep him away. Diego managed to get the one-off of him and immediately tried eating him. "You know the best part. We're carrying diseases."
The possum in Diego was trying to eat said before the sound of the walls bringing everyone back to the matter at hand. Diego spit out the possum as Manny started to talk, "Okay, thanks to Sid, we are now traveling together, and like it or not we're going to be one big happy family, I'll be the Daddy, Ellie will be the Mommy, and Diego will be the uncle that eats the kids who get on my nerves. Now let's move before the ground falls out from underneath our feet," Manny said, finishing any argument that may arise as Ellie made a comment, "I thought fat guys were supposed to be jolly." "I'm not fat, it's all this fur, it makes me look..uh..poofy." "...He's fat." With that being mumbled we continued our journey.
