The year is filled with school and revising. Frankie and sarah spent most nights together preparing for exams. It was a tough year but all worth it once the exams were over and summer was finally here. High school is over for frankie and Sarah and college is right around the corner. But not before their final year as teenagers.
Frankie is laying in bed, his balcony doors are slightly open allowing a light summer breeze to drift in. He quickly noticed the faint salty scent in the air indicating that it would probably rain soon and sighed. He began scrolling through Facebook on his phone and sees and invitation come through on his notifications. Opening the invite he sees an old classmate is throwing an end of year/start of summer party. He clicks maybe and scrolls down the list of people who are going. "Frankie!!!" A pre-pubesant voice cracks its way in to the silence. Frankie glances at his door for a moment before looking back at his phone. "Frankie!! Sarah's here!" Frankie sighs and once again pulls his attention away from his phone. "Jackson for god sake just send her up!" A few moments later sarah comes running in to his bedroom and jumps on to his bed, causing him to drop his phone. She sits up and grins before taking the chance to grab his phone and put it in her back pocket. "Why couldn't you come down?" Frankie frows before tackling her too the bed. "Because..." He flips her in too her stomach as she squirms and giggles. He takes his phone from her pocket and grins as he sits back in to his previous position. "I'm comfy". He continues to grin as she catches her breath. "So the usual...lazy ass". Sarah mumbles and stifles a laugh. "Yeah pretty much, and i heard that". Frankie shoots her a look that causes her to break and she lets out her laughter. "You're so freaking lazy". She grabs a pillow and slams it in his face. She pushes herself in to the corner and giggles as Frankie realizes what she just did. "Come on don't be like that". "Like what?" She grins clutching her pillow. Frankie glances at his pillow. When he thinks she's not looking he grabs the pillow and swings it round to hit her shoulder. Shes shocked but quickly laughs and throws her pillow straight for his face causing a pillow fight. They both get a few hits in but ultimately miss before they fall to the bed laughing and coughing.
Once sarah catches her breath she turns to face Frankie and smiles. "So frankie what are we doing tonight? I think we should stock up on munch and find a movie on Netflix. Maybe a horror or ill get you watching the notebook". "Actually i thought maybe we could go out". Sarah cocks her head and smiles nervously. "Oh umm where?" "Well someone from highschool is having a party-". Sarah cuts him off before he can finish his sentence. "No frankie i don't want to go to some random party....besides the guy probably hated us in highschool anyway". Frankie glanced down at his phone as his finger hoverd over the going icon. "No he didn't...in all fairness he didn't really know who we were". He glances back up at Sarah who now has her arms folded across his chest and doesn't seem to be blinking. "Exactly why we shouldn't go. Come on Frankie i don't want to....besides what would i wear?"
Sarah asking what she would wear meant to him that she was coming around. Frankie allows his eyes to drape over her and looks at his wardrobe in the far corner of his room and grins. "You know you look better in my clothes than i do. Besides you look great in that". He swallows a lump on his throat as he notices her scoff and shake her head. "Don't lie to me". Frankie shuffles closer to her and claps his hands together and begins to beg. "Come on sarah it will be fun, i promise i won't drink we will just go for fun...and to see everyone one last time". "You? Not drinking? I'd love to see that". "Come on pleaseeee". Frankie gets as close as possible in order to rest his head on her shoulder and stick out his bottom lip. "And i suppose you want me to drive?". "Well...yea you have the car...and the license". He thinks for a moment and grins. "Is that a yes?". "You don't expect much do you frankie?" "Come on Sarah is that a yes? Are we going?". Sarah groans and looks around his room in order to avoid eye contact. "Where is the black jumper your mum got you for Christmas. You know the one thats too tight on you but fits me perfectly". Frankie gets up and walks over to his wardrobe. "In here...wait have you borrowed this before?". Sarah walks over to join him and takes the jumper from his hands. "Not the point Frankie. The point is I've given in to you again. Now go and get me your mums makeup and her leather boots. If i have to go im going to look better than i do now". "But you...". "Do not tell me i look good right now. I look like crap and we both know it now go". He begins to walk away and leave her to change before he sticks his head back in the room. "Hey sarah?" "What?". She turns to face him clearly still slightly irritated. "You love me?" She immediately gets a smile on her face. He's grateful that she's not mad at him anymore. Granted she was never able to stay mad at him for very long. "Of course i do now get out". "Wait are you really kicking me out of my own room?" "Oh no frankie please stay and watch me change". His face drops for a second before he realizes she is kidding and leaves her to get changed.
