Walking down the street the muffled voices from the party get quieter and quieter. Eventually the noise just fades in to the distance. Frankie is purposely bumping in to sarah and pulling stupid faces in attempt to get her to smile. Its clear that his antics have failed as she keeps a straight face and speeds up slightly to get too her car. Suddenly she stops and almost causes Frankie to bump in to her back. She turns to face him with her arms folded across her chest. "Frankie what are you doing? You said to me... No you promised me you wouldn't drink and look at you. You can't even walk". Sarah wipes a tear away from her eye and looks back too see Frankie looking extremely guilty. She doesn't want to hurt him but there's so much more that she's upset about and if she doesn't say it now then she won't at all. Once again she will be holding back with him and who knows maybe he won't remember what she says right now tomorrow morning. "See you know what. That's not even close to what the worst part is. You said you wouldn't leave me and you did. I didn't need to drink to have fun but you didn't think about that.  You didn't even invite me to go with you. You just went off with some random girl, who has a boyfriend by the way, and you just left me in a place that you know for a fact that i didn't want to be. You're supposed to be my best friend Frankie". In hopes to hide her tears sarah spins on her heel and races towards her car. Soon enough they both reach the car, Frankie rests his head on top of the car as she unlocks it. "I am your best friend". Sarah sighs and gets in the drivers side. "Get in the car frankie". Frankie quickly opens the passenger door and gets in beside her. "Sarah i am your best friend". "Its alright you saying it Frankie but it doesn't feel like it lately". Frankie doesn't seem to have any words, they both sit in silence for a while. Once its clear that Frankie is not going to reply Sarah starts the car and pulls out to drive. Suddenly Frankie decides he wants to talk. "I don't get it sarah... What do you mean lately?" "Oh i don't know... You just left me for some random girl who again has a boyfriend".  Sarah turns back to the road in attempt to hold back tears. "Sarah there's no need to be jealous. I love you and everything but not like that". He grins at her in attempt to make sure she knows hes kidding but he's kinda serious. Sarah laughs and scoffs. "Frankie do you think i have a crush on you or something?" "Well it kinda sounds like that yea". Sarah glances at him  disgusted and shakes her head. "Did you let them perform brain surgery on you while you were in there drinking?" Frankie holds up his middle finger and she mimicks him. "I don't like you frankie. You're like family to me and that's exactly why i am jealous... Because i feel like i am being replaced". She glances at Frankie and a small smile creeps on to her face.  "I know you're seventeen now and you know... you want a girlfriend and I'm not going to stop you. Go ahead and find a girl. Just don't forget about me on the way". She nudges Frankies arm and he matches her smile. "We have spent the past thirteen years together. As much as we both know you will have a girlfriend she won't be the girl you Saved from a tree house when she was ten, and i will have a boyfriend but he wont be the guy i hid in an abandoned factory when i was fourteen". They both grin thinking back to their amazing moments. "These are our memories franks. Don't forget that". Frankie smiles down at his lap before looking up a and meeting her gaze.

This perfect moment soon turns dark when Frankie realizes Sarah has run a red light in to on cominng traffic. "Sarah!!!DRIVE!!!" sarah looks to her right and sees a car coming straight for them. She struggles to put her foot down in time and the car hits her side head on, causing the car to flip down the road. The windows on all sides of the car comes crashing in. Frankie turns to look at sarah only to see her fly forward and hit her head on the steering wheel as the car flips for a final time. He watches as her body fly's back and the sound of her spine breaking forces its way in to the mix of sounds. Just when things could not get worse he watches her body go limp. Like her soul just left her body. He watches as her body slumps when the car stops moving. Tears are falling from her eyes. Frankies vision begins to blur and blood trickles down his face and neck. His body was thrown in every different direction and it felt like being stabbed with a thousand knives as he reaches out for her hand. He promised he wouldn't leave her...and he can't let her down now. He intertwines his fingers with hers and takes a deep breath. Time doesn't seem to be moving and more importantly neither does sarah. Frankie had been cut and hurt and the pain was exhausting. He tighten his grip on Sarah's and and closes his eyes just as the blue flashing lights come in to view. Thank god for whoever called them. Now all they have to do is help his best friend.
