"Come on, Kate!" Her dad yelled walking into the cave. His voice echoed as he stared into the dark empty cave. Kate rolled her eyes and dragged the iron pix to her father. His big creeper eyes stared her down, but judging the tone of his voice, she could tell he was happy.

"This time we're gonna do it." He assured her. She rolled her eyes and looked the other way. He glanced over at Kate in surprise. "What? You don't wanna mine?" He asked. She turned back to him and sighed.

"No. Why can't we do things the fun way? We always liked to blow things up and stealing from chests. Right? Didn't we?" Kate asked staring into her fathers eyes.

"Of course we did! But half our creeper community has died by blowing up. And I though it might be fun if we'd try something different."

"We? You can't even mine! Your a creeper!" Kate yelled without thinking. There was a long awkward pause. Kate sighed again and continued walking with her dad into the cave. In case you don't understand, she was raised by creepers. But her unknown mom was a human.

After a long silent search for some iron, they finally stopped and at a bottomless pit filled with lava. She hoped that he would forget about the whole mining thing and go back home, but that didn't happen. Instead he told Kate to look around for something. As a stubborn girl, Kate sighed and started looking. She spotted something right away and wanted to surprise her dad. So Kate started mining it. Little did she know that some lava was hiding behind this block. It came pouring out slowly and Kate jumped back nearly falling off the edge. She screamed trying to keep her balance. Then her dad came around the corner rushing over to help.

"KATE! I'm coming!" Her dad yelled. But, he couldn't do much since he had no arms. The rock beneath Kate didn't hold very long and she slipped. More like fell to her death! But she didn't die. Instead she hit a few ledges on the way down. She let out a yelp every time she hit one. Finally she came to what seamed to look like the bottom. Lava surrounded her as she laid on one big chunk of stone. She looked up to see her father in panic mode.

"Don't worry! I'll go get the Endermen! Stay there!" He yelled down to her. He ran out of sight screaming. Kate didn't trust the Endermen for this job. Mainly because it involves lava. She rubbed her hurt head and looked around to see if there was a way out. Nope. She'd just have wait for her dad to return.

She was getting tired. So she slowly closed her eyes and fell fast asleep. Despite the fact that lava was surrounding her, it was pretty peaceful down there. Well apparently enough to fall asleep. But anyway, after a hour or so her dad still wasn't there. So she continued sleeping. Then, there were two voices. But they weren't her dads. She didn't notice because, well, she was sleeping.

"Think there will be any diamonds near by?" One yelled.

"Positive." The other yelled back. "Let's spit up. We'll cover more ground that way." There was a long pause until one finally noticed Kate.

"Ummm... Alex. Come see this." He said staring at the girl.

"What is it Steve?" She asked approaching. She looked down and saw Kate."Oh. Do you think she's alive?"

"Theirs only one way to find out." He said tying a rope to a big rock. He tugged on it checking to make sure it was strong. It was. So he lowered himself down and met up with Kate. She remained sleeping as Steve picked up the girl. He managed to pull him and Kate up without falling. When they reached the top, he gently put Kate on the ground. She still slept.

"She's alive." Steve said and stood up. "But probably weak. She was down their with no supplies."

"Why don't we bring her home?" Alex asked. "Just until she's better. And find out who her parents are and bring her home." Steve nodded. And with that, Steve carried the sleeping girl back home.
