Kate rubbed her eyes and sat up. She looked around and realize she was in a bed.
In a room. In a house. Not where she was when she fell asleep. She swung the covers off her and got out of bed. She quietly made her way to the door. She opened it slowly, crept her way through the hallway and peaked around the corner to see if anyone was home. She saw Steve and Alex sitting on the couch eating breakfast. Steve noticed and stood up.

"Hey, your awake!" Steve said walking over to her.

"I think so." She said confused. She rubbed her head and turned to Alex and Steve.

"Ummm... Hello. I hope you don't mind me asking, but who are you and where am I?" She asked.

"I'm Alex." Alex said putting her food away. "He's Steve. We found you at the bottom of a cave. So we brought you here. To, you know, recover."

"Yea," Steve said walking closer. "Why dose it feel like we've met before?"

Long ago, when Kate was 9, she helped her dad rob someone. Apparently it was Steve. She stole everything that had diamonds in it. Diamond sword, pic, shovel, axe, hoe and a hole set of diamond armour. You may be wondering why she wasn't wearing them before. It was for the creeper army. It's too bad they wouldn't fit them. But anyway, last second Steve got a glimpse of Kate's green creeper sweater. But luckily she got away.

"Uhhhh... R-Really? I do?" Kate said putting on a fake smile. "I don't remember you." She lied uncomfortably.

"Hmmm... Strange. Oh well." Steve said shrugging. "You hungry?"

Kate sighed in relief. "Yes, in fact I am."

"Okay. Go sit on the couch. We'll bring you your food in a minute." He said and walked to Alex. As told, Kate sat on the couch patiently.

"Alex, can I talk to you for a minute?" Steve asked pulling Alex into the kitchen. He glanced at Kate through the corner of his eye. "Now that I look at her square in the eyes, she seems strangely familiar." He said looking back at Alex.

"In a good way, or a bad way?" She asked. Steve bit his lip.

"That's the thing. I can't quite place my finger on it. But I swear I've seen her before."

"Well, if it was bad, then you have a good reason to make up. If it was good, then that's even better." She said hopping it would help. Steve smiled and nodded. They walked out of the room and made Kate some toast.

"Awwww!" Kate said as a puppy walked into the room. She picked the puppy up and cuddled it. "She's so fluffy! And cute! What's his or her name?"

"Her name's Luna." Alex said putting a plate in front of Kate. Kate smiled and put the puppy down. She picked up the toast and took a bit of it. It was the most delicious thing she's ever tasted! Usually she'd eat old left over bread. She'd eat that because the creepers she grew up with didn't have much of a appetite, and they couldn't pick up any food. So she'd just get whatever she could find.

"Yummy!" She said out loud.

"Thank you!" Alex replied. "But that's only a piece of toast. Haven't you ever had toast?"

Kate was nervous. If she said she didn't have toast (true), they might get suspicious. If she told them she had toast (false), they will know something's wrong since she just said "yummy" out loud. If she gets this nervous about toast, how about when they start asking who her dad is.

"Uhhhh... Yes I have. But the bread is very... Stale where I come from." Kate lied taking another bite.

"Where do you come from anyway?" Steve asked plopping down on the couch beside her. Kate nearly choked.

"Ummm... Where I live? Uhhhh... Well you see... I live..." Kate stuttered uncontrollably. "Let's just say I live somewhere far, far away from here." Truth is, Kate didn't know how far away home was. All she cared was she kept her identity a secret.

"Is that right?" Steve asked with sudden interest.

"Yep."

"I like your sweater by the way." He said. Kate looked down at her green creeper sweater.

"Thanks. My mom made it for me when I was only one. And when I was one, this was a blanket to me." Kate sighed and got teary eyes. "It's the last thing I have of my mom. For all I know is she's dead now. I don't know how, but she is. The last memory of her and I was when she left me in a cave, alone. I was just a baby. Why would she do that?! But I know it was for a good reason because I could see the tears forming in her eyes. Then she left. I cried for hours, hopping she'd come back. But she never did. "

"So how'd a baby survive in a cave full of mobs?" Steve asked.

"After what seemed like hours, someone finally found me. He needed some help getting me home though." She said.

"What kinda help?"

"To, you know, find a way out of the cave." The real reason why her dad needed help was he couldn't carry her, so the Endermen helped with that. She almost forgot to mention her best friend is a Enderman. His name is Noah.

"Well Kate, since you've eaten, I was wondering if you could help me out with some work around here?" Steve asked.

"Sure!" Kate said standing up. She dashed out the door fallowing Steve. They walked towards the barn and swung the huge doors open. They walked in and were greeted by many animals.

"Okay. I was wondering if you could take Epona out for a walk?" Steve said opening the gate to the horse pen. Kate jumped happily.

"I would love to!" She said walking into the pen. A brown horse stood their staring at Kate.

"Hold on." Steve said pulling her back. "First you need to brush her and feed her. Then you can take her out for a ride." Kate sighed but got to work right away.

"Good. I'll be milking some cows. You tell me when your ready to ride her." Steve said walking away with some buckets. She started feeding Epona some apples, but they quickly were eaten. She grabbed a brush and started brushing out Eponas fur. Right beside her was a window that over looked at a wide valley. She noticed something in the distance. Something familiar. Too familiar.

"Oh no." She gasped because their stood her creeper father, searching for his lost daughter.
