CHAPTER 17
GEORGIANA
( THE NEW STUDENTS )
"I can't believe you went to his place and did not tell me!", Jenny exclaimed the next day in school. I sighed.
"Jenny, I was with my family and my mom wanted me to hurry home", I explained for the hundredth time. I had told her about me and my family's visit to Vladimir's house.
"I know. But still! You could have at least texted me!", she said. I rolled my eyes. She could be so melodramatic sometimes. Good thing I didn't tell her about mine and Vladimir's 'almost kiss'. She'd skin me alive. I decided to keep my dream to myself too. I couldn't help but feel a little bit disappointed, it felt so real.
"Georgina? Hello...", I heard someone said. I snapped out of my haze. Jenny was looking at me with an annoyed expression.
"Sorry, I spaced out", I said sheepishly. She glared at me and walked away. I immediately felt hurt. I started to follow her to make things okay when a hand caught me around my waist.
"She's not worth it", said a silky voice. I shivered. I couldn't help but remember my dream. The voice...His voice.... I turned and faced Vladimir but didn't move away from his hold.
"W-what?", I stammered, looking up to his face.
"She's not worth it", he repeated with a stony expression on his face.
"How could you say that? You don't even know her!", I accused, angry that he insulted my best friend.
"Do you?", he challenged.
"We've been friends for five years now! Of course I know her!", I exclaimed.
"She doesn't care about you Georgiana!", he exclaimed. I stepped out of his hold, turned my back and stormed away.
How could he? He doesn't have the right! I thought angrily to myself. I walked briskly into the classroom and sat at the back of the class. I met Jenny's eyes and shelooked away angrily. I felt a pang in my chest. I walked up to her.
"Hey, Jen...I--", I started to say but she cut me off.
"What do you want loser? Tips on how to make Vladimir fall for you? I'm afraid I can't help you with that. You're just too ugly", she said, smirking at me. I was taken aback. I opened my mouth to say something but the teacher walked in so I took a seat at the back of the class. I heard the chair scoot beside me. I looked and saw Vladimir sitting next to me. I looked away quickly.
"Georgiana?", I heard Vladimir's voice say.
"What?", I answered without turning towards him.
"Are you alright?, he asked.
"You were right about Jenny", I said sadly.
"I know", he answered.
"How?", I asked curious.
"I just do", he answered simply.
"I'm sorry for bitching at you", I apologized.
"It's okay Georgiana", he said, a small smile on his lips. I smiled back.
"So....... I was wondering if you'd like to sit with me today at lunch?", he asked in a low voice. I blushed. Damn it what's wrong with me?
"Uhm...yeah...sure", I said.
"Great", he said, giving me a full blown smile. My heart skipped a eat.
"Class pay attention please, we are going to b----", Mr. Gleeson started to say but three loud knocks on the door interrupted him. I heard a low groan from Vladimir. Our teacher opened the door.
"Oh, hello there", he said in astonishment. "Come on in", Mr. Donahue continued. I turned to Vladimir and saw a look of complete disbelief on his face. What's up with him? The class quieted down as the newcomers entered the room. I looked back as three guys followed Mr. Donahue in. Three gorgeous guys. They were all blonds, two of them are twins. One of the twins' eyes spotted Vladimir and a wide grim appeared on his face.
"Oi Vladimir! Quit ogling Georgiana like a pervert!", he said loudly. The room went quiet, except for the three new students. They were laughing their asses off.
