CHAPTER 23

( THE GIRLS ARE UP TO SOMETHING )

"WOOOOOOO!", Matt, Lucius and Lucas chorus but I ignored them. They found me lying on my bed smiling like an idiot at the ceiling. 

"So.........", began Lucas. I continued to ignore them. I heard Lucius sigh.

"Say something, man", whined Matt. 

"What do you want me to say?", I asked them. I could still feel her lips on mine. I sighed and continued to smile.

"I don't know.......well, how was it?", asked Lucas. I turned my haed to look at him. "How was what?", I asked.

"C'mon, man, don't play coy. We know you and Georgiana kissed", said Matt.

"THEY DID?!", exclaimed a girl's voice. We all turned to see Claudia and my mother standing by the door with shocked expressions.

"Can't a guy get some privacy in thishouse? Jeeze!", I exclaimed. My mother giggled and sat beside me on my bed. She started stroking my hair genty.

"Oh, honey.... I'm so excited! I don't know why! But I am.... I mean, I know that we still have to worry about Victor's escape but......", she sighed dreamily. "Oh, I wonder what my grandchildren will look like", she said. My eyes widened.

"Mother!", I stared at her, aghast. I'm not ready to have kids and Georgiana and I aren't officially dating yet! I put my face on my hands. "I'm not sure that she will accept me for me! For-for what I am! For what we all are!", I said, dread filling me.

"Oh please, Bella Swan was able to accept the fact that Edward was a vampire, why can't Georgiana?", said Matt.

"Oh my god Matt, you watch Twilight?!", exclaimed Claudia. Matthew shrugged. "Ew", said Lucas, srunching up his nose.

"You really are gay", says Lucius.

"Oh really?! Oh Matthew, why didn't you tell us! Were you worried that we would hate you? Oh honey...you're a part of this family and we'll love you for who you really are! I'm so glad you came out!", said mother. Matthew's face turned beet red.

"I'm not gay!", exclaimed Matt.

"Matty....dear you don't have to-", began my mother.

"For the last time! I AM NOT GAY!", shouted Matt. My mother giggled. "Alright if you say so", she says innocently.

"I do say so!", says Matt. I sighed.

"Okay, get out....please....I have homework and I gotta study for-" I started to say but Lucas snorted. "Homework, yeah right......we don't have homework".

I sighed again and closed my eyes. "I just want to be alone for now okay?". They srugged. Everybody went out except for my mother who was still sitting beside me on the bed.

"If you need someone to talk to, know that we are all here for you", she says sweetly. I nodd and she steps out, closing the door softly behind her.

I lay back down on my bed and started to stare at the ceiling again. I inhaled deeply. I don't know how I'm going to explain things to Georgiana. I hope she understands like Bella did. Ah fuck, now I'm thinking about twilight. I run my hand over my face. I don't know what I'll do if she leaves me. I sigh again.

 Then I heard whispering..

"or we could tell Georgiana that we're having a family dinner and then we'll lead her into a room......"

"yes and we'll set the table like real romanticaly and she'll see that there are only two chairs..."

"what about Vladimir?"

"Shhh! He might find out!"

"Ohhh....I'm so excited!"

"Shut up, Rosaline....he'll hear us!"

"So what? He doesn't know what we're talking about"

I heard the voices whisper downstairs. My eye widened. What are they up to now!?! I growled and raced down the stairs, only to find Rosaline and Claudia sitting on the sofa. They both looked up at my arrival with innocent expressions.

"What's wrong Vladimir?", asked Claudia.

My eyes narrowed. "What were you guys talking about?", I asked.

"Nothing important really, I was just telling Claudia how pretty her dress is today, look, don't you agree tha it brings out her eyes?!", said Rosaline, admiring Claudia's dress.

I rolled my eyes. There's no use in trying to get them to spill, they're not goignt to tell me shit. I shook my head, frustrated and sat on one of the cushioned chairs, resting my back. I noticed Rosaline eyeing me with a strange expression.

"What?", I asked. No doubt some tips about fashion.

"Nothing", she replied, smilling mischeiviously.
