20- The Goddess' Wrath

Linus's POV

All of us run towards the battleground and there we saw a big number of werewolves grinning mischievously at us.

I, Luna, and Hiro were the only ones who don't shift yet, and on the other side, that bastard named Miguel, that Jane bitch, and a lady holding a stick which I assumed was a wand. No doubt! That's a witch! All of them are in human form.

"Well well well, handa na pala kayo sa pagdating namin, pero di bale, napakarami namin para matalo niyo. HAHAHAHA! Prepare to lose strongest pack!" nakangising sabi ni Miguel. Nagawi ang tingin nito sa mate ko at mas lalong lumaki ang ngisi niya.

"Sino ang magandang dilag na ito? Binibini, gagawin kitang aking reyna, sumama ka lamang sa amin," he said that makes me growl angrily at him.

Luna smirked because of what he said. "Queen?" she said smiling. Damn.

"Yes, my Queen," that bastard said with an evil smile. I can't wait to wipe that smile off him.

"Pwede," Luna answered that makes my pack shocked while that pathetic Alpha smile like a dog.

"Pero ampangit mo kasi. Wag na lang," Luna added which makes the smile on his face instantly replaced with anger.

"Uy! Chill ka lang! Si ate witch na lang ang gawin mong queen, parehas naman kayong pangit eh" she said with a smile. Pfft. Kahit kailan talaga.

"Attack them!" he said angrily. The enemies ran towards us. I looked at my mate and I saw her looking at the faces of our pack members filled with fear and worry.

The enemies are halfway away from us but were stopped when Luna raised her right hand.

"I've changed my mind," seryoso nitong sabi.

"Will you accept my proposal now?" Miguel said with joy. They were only meters away from us.

"Why would I? Gumwapo ka na ba?" she said before stepping forward. Hahaha.

"Then prepare to die." Miguel angrily said before commanding his warriors to attack us. I prepared myself for their attack, but I was shocked because of what happened. We were all shocked. Truly and deeply shocked! What the heck?!

The pathetic alpha was also shocked together with his minions. "What's happening?!" Miguel angrily shouted.

"She's protecting them," sagot ng witch while looking evilly to my mate. My brow creased because of that. What does she mean? I looked at Hiro and saw that he wasn't even shocked by what he's hearing.

"Nagbago na ang isip kong isugal ang buhay ng mga lobo dito ngayon dahil lang sa napakawalang kwentang rason mo, so now, it's just me against all of you," Luna said without any emotions on her face.

I walked towards her but I can't pass through! I tried to destroy it, but it was just too strong!

"Luna! What the heck are you doing?!" sigaw ko but she doesn't even bother looking at me

"Don't waste your energy. Kaya na yan ni Kiara. Hindi mo kailangang mag-alala," I heard Hiro said while grinning.

"What the heck are you saying?! Hiro! Can't you see that Luna, your cousin is alone fighting those monsters?!" I shouted but he just smiled and patted my shoulder.

"Hiro, oh popcorn," Jay said while lending some popcorn, which my beta willingly accepted. What the heck?! Do they think, this is kind of a movie?! I annoyingly looked again at my mate who's currently talking to the enemies.
