Katrina's POV

"Well, it's where I stayed after prom and the Sunday after prom," I said as Jayk pulled into the driveway. Another car pulled in behind us. "Oh great."

"What?" asked Jayk as we got out of the car.

"It's the show," I said. "Can you take Autumn inside, please?"

"Yeah," said Jayk.

"Thanks," I said. My dad, Jayk, and Autumn went inside the house. "Hey."

"Hi," said Nev as he hugged me. Max did too. "Everything alright?"

"Yeah, it's fine," I replied. "You must be Ericka."

"Yeah," said Ericka.

"Well, Drew's right inside," I said. "Why don't you guys come inside?" The four of us walked inside. "Sorry for the loudness of the music!" I grabbed the remote and turned off the stereo. "There, sorry about that."

"No, you're fine," said Nev.

"Please, have a seat and I'll see if I can go find Drew," I said. They sat down as Jayk walked down the stairs. "Hey, is Drew upstairs?"

"The rooms are all empty," said Jayk. "Where could they be?"

"They could be outside?" I asked.

"Is there a problem?" asked Ericka. "There can't be a problem."

"Seems like the house is empty," I said.

"Is Drew even real?" asked Nev.

"Yes, Drew's real, Nev," I said. "Here." I handed him my phone showing him the photo album of Drew and I when we got comfortable over the week taking pictures together. "That was all through the week. I'm going to go get Drew." I walked out to the backyard and the guys were sitting near the pool singing. "Drew!" They shut up. "She's here."

"What?" asked Drew. "I'm busy."

"Dude," I said. "Come on." I literally dragged Drew along and he was trying to resist so Jayk helped me. "Lady and gents, presenting Mr. Drew Ryan Scott himself..." I shoved him into the living room. "There. See, Drew is real."

"Katrina," said Jayk. "He has his eyes closed."

"Dammit Drew," I said. I started thinking. "Hey Jayk. Can you get me the lemons?"

"You wouldn't," Drew said opening his eyes.

"Oh, trust me," said Jayk. "She would."

"You would?" asked Ericka.

"Jayk and I, we've known each other since we were in diapers," I said. "We were front door neighbors growing up. I think you two have a lot to talk about."

"We'll leave you to that," said Jayk. "I gotta go help the guys with the song, you go see how Autumn and your dad are doing." I looked at Jayk. "Yeah, they're in seperate rooms."

"Okay," I said. I went upstairs to check on Autumn first. "Hey, you doing okay?"

"Yeah," said Autumn sitting on the bed. "Hey, it's been about a week." She grabbed her purse and pulled out a pregnancy test. "Moment of truth."

"Yeah," I said. I went to the bathroom, took the test, and went back to the room. "We just gotta check in five minutes." I sighed. "I'm going to check on my dad." I went to the room my dad was in. "Hey Dad. You okay?"

"Yeah, your old man can handle a beat down," said Dad. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and find this kid and arrest him for assaulting a police officer."

"Dad, you really wanna go back to work?" I asked.

"I'm not going to let some kid stop me from living my daily life," said Dad as we argued down the stairs. "This kid is dangerous. He has raped Autumn, assaulted me, and hurt you. I'm not letting it happen again."

"Dad, we've had this conversation over a thousand times," I said. "Over different suspects and victims but I did most of the talking. You listened and totally went the opposite direction I was trying to impose."

"Okay," said Dad. "What do you want me to do?"

"You can go back to work first thing tomorrow," I said. "I want you to go back up to that bedroom and get some sleep."

"Alright," said Dad. "We'll do things your way, this time."

"Sir, yes, sir," I said.

"My young Cadet Canfield always reporting to duty," said Dad. "Usually on time."

"It's for the best," I said. Dad went upstairs. Nev, Max, and Ericka walked in. "How much of that did you hear?"

"You telling your dad what to do," said Max. "Is that such a smart move?"

"My dad can be stubborn at times," I said. "I do what I can to keep him on his feet." I sighed. "He was part of the military for a few years when retired to the police force but raised me in the military."

"Tough life, huh?" asked Nev.

"As a kid, you don't think about it much," I said. "We had our ups and downs but we're much stronger when we stick together." I nodded. "So, how'd it go with Drew, Ericka?"

"Turns out we aren't a match made in heaven after all," said Ericka.

"I'm sure you'll find your prince charming one day," I said. "Just give yourself sometime. Loves happens at its own pace."

"Easy for you to say," said Ericka. "You grew up with yours."

With that, they left. "Well, didn't need the tude," I said. I went to see Autumn. "Hey. What did the test say?"

"Do you want to take another one just in case?" asked Autumn.

"Autumn, I don't have the time," I said. I could feel my breakfast coming up. I ran to the bathroom and vomited, basically. I washed my mouth. "Oh my god, Jayk." I went to Autumn's room. "The test said positive, didn't it?"

"What gave you the first clue?" Autumn asked sarcastically.

"The sickness, the vomiting, " I said. "Oh my god, that's why I'm four days late for Aunt Flow."

"Overshare," said Autumn. "But the lateness on your Aunt Flow should've been your first clue."

"Yeah, thanks a lot for that," I said. "Now, I gotta tell Jayk before he jets off anywhere else."
