Jayk's POV
Katrina was right. I pointed at Todd and he started playing the guitar. "I love your converse, ripped jeans, and the way you looks at me. No one does it better, I swear," I sang as I stood up. "You wear your hair down, makeup. You don't even need that stuff, taking pictures everywhere." I got Katrina on her feet and we started slow dancing. "And I would fight. I would run. I would fly into the sun. 'Cause I never met a girl like you before. You don't think your perfect but you're everything I want and more." I moved her hair out of her face. "And I did make you mine. Cross my heart and I hope to die. That I never met a girl like you before. Never met a girl like, never met a girl like you before. Never met a girl, never met a girl like you before." Katrina smiled as we looked at each other. "You wear your headphones, Romeo. We write all her favorite songs. Dancing, round like you do not care." She smiled shyly. "You got a title. Who knew, that I'd be your boyfriend too. But other guys don't know that I'm there." She smiled as we hugged each other. "And I would fight. I would run. I would fly into the sun." I spun Katrina around. "'Cause I never met a girl like you before. You don't think your perfect but you're everything I want and more. And I did make you mine. Cross my heart and I hope to die. That I never met a girl like you before. Never met a girl like, never met a girl like you before. Never met a girl, never met a girl like you before." I got down on one knee and held Katrina's left hand in my left hand. "If I told you you're the one, would you take my hand and run into the night? Baby, let's run. Baby, let's run."
Todd played the music. "Jayk," said Katrina.
"Katrina Canfield, you honestly doesn't make it easy to ask a simple question," I said. "This was my perfect way of introducing the question." I got the ring out of my pocket and held it between my right index finger and thumb. "Katrina Canfield, we've been together for four years, almost five and I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else. Instead of ending the five years, can we keep our story going with you marrying me?"
"Jayk," she said taking her right hand up to her mouth.
"Speechless?" I asked. She nodded. "Okay. Nod yes for yes and no for no."
"Yes, I'll marry you," she replied, also nodding.
"Okay," I sighed of relief. I put the ring on her finger as I stood up. We hugged each other. "Will you see me off at the airport?"
"Of course," she smiled, really big. "I am going to miss you."
"I'll miss you too," I smiled. "Now I know I'll have something to come home to."
"Let's get you home and packed," Katrina sighed. "We don't want you to be late for your flight." She looked down. "Even though I don't want you to go."
"When I get back, we will have the wedding," I nodded. "Hey." I lifted up her chin so she was looking in my eyes. "I want you to plan everything but I'd like one proposal." She nodded. "Make all the guys and Todd here, be our groomsmen."
She smiled her gorgeous smile. "That's exactly what I wanted," she replied. "And I also have one." I looked at her. "Our first dance."
"What were you thinking?" I asked.
"Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sherran," she whispered in my ear.
"Yeah, we can definately learn the dance to that," I said. "But you're going to be in a big dress."
"I'm going to have a different skirt for the reception," she smiled. "I have it planned."
"The wedding will be great because of you," I smiled. "Come on." We went home and I packed up. Jonnie drove the guys in the van while Kat and I took Drew's car. We waited in the boarding room. "I'll facetime, call, and text when I can."
"You better," she nudged me.
"Flight 129 to Tokyo, Japan now boarding," said the PA system.
"That's my cue," I said as we stood up.
"Yeah, it is," she sighed. "I don't want you to go."
"I don't want to go either," I said. "But like we promised, we're always in each others heart."
"Always," she sniffled.
"Paris, London, Tokyo. Just one thing that I gotta do," I sang. "Tuck you in every night on the phone."
We pulled apart. "Bye Jayk," she replied.
I wiped her tear away with my thumb. "Every night," I replied as I gave her a kiss. "See you soon." I boarded the plane with the guys. I waved to Katrina as she waved back. I laid back in my seat. "So, you're all groomsmen at my wedding."
"Who said you were getting married?" asked Drew.
"I asked her and she said yes," I smiled. "Without hesitation, she said yes. Well, she was speechless at first."
"Woo," said Blake. "We're going to be in a wedding."
"Who are the bridemaids we're walking with?" asked Devin.
"Katrina's choosing her bridemaids," I smiled. "We're having the wedding soon as I get back." I looked out the window. "I'm ready to go back."
