Nachi went to the first band and asked them if could play with them. Surprisingly they agreed and he took out his guitar. He studied their notes and soon they started playing. I stood cheering for them and a crowd started gathering. I recorded the moment on Instagram stories. It was surreal experience, I was enjoying a foreign song and cheering for a complete stranger. A couple even danced to one of the soft songs they played.

Nachi had the biggest smile while playing his guitar. He was lost in a different world while playing, I could see him tapping his feet to the beats sometimes or humming to himself softly with the tune. They finished playing their fifth song and he excused himself from there.

"How was it?", he ran up to me.

"It was nice, you played well."

"Are you hungry?"

"Yeah."

"Lets grab something to eat."

"Sure, wait they are calling you."

"Who?", he asked looking around cluelessly.

"The band members, greet them and come back. I'll check the places we listed."

"Okay, wait for me here."

He walked towards the band member who praised him for his performance, at least that what it looked like. I opened my back pack to look for the notebook but it was no where to be found. I almost emptied my bag on the pavement but the notebook was not there. Nachi came back and asked,

"What are you looking for?"

"My notebook with all the notes is lost!",

"Calm down, pack everything and think. Where did you see it last?", he asked collecting my things.

"The train, we wrote the itinerary for Amsterdam."

"Oh..."

"Did you pick it up by any chance?"

"No, we both fell asleep after that so I don't remember."

"It had all the itineraries for all cities."

"Did it have any cash, visa or printouts?"

"No, they are in a different folder."

"Check if that's with you."

"Yeah, its here."

"Thank god."

"What about my notebook?", I whimpered. It took me a lot of time to prepare it and I didn't want to lose it.

"Don't worry, we'll make another one."

"Where do we eat now?"

"Let me check online."

I carefully packed my belongings while he checked the restaurants around in the area. My mind kept wandering to the notebook.

"There is a restaurant here, it has good reviews online."

"Okay, lets go."

"We'll make another notebook.", Nachi tried consoling me. I started calling him Nachi in the train when he said,

"Nachiket is very mouthful, you can call me Nachi."

"Or can I you Kitya because Kitty will sound a little girlish."

"Nachi is better."

We walked in silence to the restaurant he suggested. It was a small place situated on the bank of the river. It overlooked the river and bridge. We walked in and it was bustling with people which lifted my spirits a little. We ordered a chicken panini, chips with guacamole and some draft beer. The service was good and so was my company. We took pictures of the food before digging into our scrumptious meal.
