It was only one more week until classes were finally starting. I used the time to study, not just my Korean but also in beforehand of my university English classes.

I haven't heard from Rosie since the day we met, so I kinda gave up on the idea of seeing her ever again. Seoul is a big city. I will make other Korean friends.

Suddenly, my phone started vibrating and I got a text notification. When I looked at my phone, I dropped my pen in shock. I've never unlocked my phone that fast.

It was actually Rosie who texted me. I checked the contact three times and rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

When I was finally convinced that this wasn't a dream, I started to reply.

So, we arranged to meet tomorrow. I was extremely excited, to say the least. That's why I went to bed early, even though I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep so soon.

The next day, I just finished reading something for my classes when the doorbell rang. I jumped up, grabbed my phone, wallet and keys and rushed to the door. "It's for me!" I shouted, so that no one else would answer the door and annoy me afterwards with saying that I went on a date or something like that.

I told Rosie through the intercom to wait for a second and then I rushed downstairs as fast as I could.

I stepped out of the front door and saw her beautiful eyes shining at me. Unfortunately, the rest of her face was covered by a facemask. A little strange, if you ask me, since its summer and very unlikely to catch a cold. But maybe she has a weak immune system...

"Hi, Y/N! How are you?" She greeted me with her sweet voice, and we started walking down the street.

"I'm fine, just a little tired from studying. But we're not going to talk about that, because you made me promise to not talk to you about work until we know each other." I answered grinning and Rosie had to chuckle. "Touché."

We ended up walking through the park where we first met, playing 20 questions to get to know each other. I found out that she grew up in Australia and came to Korea for work, that she had an older sister and lived with her best friends.
