So, it's been a few days since I applied for the tutoring job at YGE and I actually got invited for an interview.

The procedure was just like any other company I worked for as a part-timer before. The interviewer was very kind as well.

"So I understand that you are a foreign student who studies English at university to become a teacher? But you are part Korean and learned the language yourself?" He asked while looking at my application.

"Yes sir. I learned a few bits and pieces of the language when I was a child, but I never got the chance to be fluent. When I arrived at the beginning of this semester, I relearned the language on my own." I explained and the interviewer nodded along.

"Well, you are aware of the fact that you would be teaching mostly Korean students?" "Yes, I am aware."

"Great. You will have a probation period of three months. If you show weak working ethics or your students don't improve at all, we will have the possibility to release you from the position. But don't worry, our trainees are eager to learn. We also might employ another tutor, so you can coordinate and help each other out. Congratulations! You'll get the details about your first shift and anything you need to know via mail." The interviewer shook my hand and smiled warmly. Even though he basically threatened me to work well or be fired, he looked so kind. Creepy. But I wouldn't complain. I've got a job now.

The first few days as a tutor went well. I met the other tutor YGE employed next to me. It was a girl, maybe 3 or 4 years older than me and she was very nice. She's apparently korean-american, so she's fluent in both languages. We agreed that I get to teach the classes in the afternoon on 4 days a week.

The students were nice as well. Age wise they were all over the place. I occasionally saw the members of different established groups walk by, but I never talked to any of them. They were already busy enough and I was too shy anyway.

The only issue I faced was to explain how I got a job at YG to my roommates. First I managed to get front row tickets to a music show, now I effortlessly get a job at YG Entertainment... they both started to get suspicious of me.

I sat at a table in YGs cafeteria with the members of Blackpink. "I don't know how long I can hide that I know you guys from my roommates anymore. They get really suspicious because I won't tell them who I hang out with all the time and now that I work here at YG Entertainment..." I complained while burying my face in my hands.

The girls looked at each other, clearly concerned about me. "I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be best if Y/N was honest with them and told their roommates about us." Lisa suggested.

"I mean, we don't have to go into the details about how we know each other, but telling them that Y/N knows us personally and, I don't know, maybe talk to them once wouldn't be that bad. I mean, all of us have plenty of people we get to know each day. And if we take our manager and security with us, we could treat it as a mini fan event, as a favor to our friend." Lisa continued to explain her trail of thought and the other girls didn't seem too opposed to the idea.

"You really would meet them for me?" I asked in slight disbelief, thinking of all the worst-case scenarios that could happen.

"Sure, why not? We actually did some semi-private fan events a couple of times already. And just like Lisa said, if we take our manager and security with us, there's nothing to be worried about." Jennie said and they all nodded.

Huh... I guess I'm about to introduce Sophie and Ryuji to Blackpink.

A couple of days later, I gathered my roommates in the living room. Ryuji was calm but Sophie seemed to be a bit resentful.

"Okay guys, I know I wasn't honest with you about a few things. But I'd like to make it up to you. I planned something really cool for us, so would you please give me this chance?" I pleaded and after some sighs from Sophie, she agreed. Ryuji didn't really seem to mind, so he wasn't that hard to convince.

I brought them to the café Rosie and I visited once. The one with the private rooms. We managed to rent a larger room, so that about 10 people could fit in there without any problems. I led them into the room and had them order some food before excusing myself for a minute.

As soon as I stepped outside, I saw Blackpinks Van pull up. I waited for them while the security and café staff made sure that they weren't swarmed by fans or any other people. The manager signaled me that they would enter our room shortly, so I went back inside.

"Okay guys, ready for your surprise?" I asked and Ryuji seemed confused. "The private room at this awesome café wasn't the surprise?"

I shook my head and the door opened. Ryuji's and Sophie's eyes widened and their mouths fell open as they spotted the members of Blackpink walk through the door.

"Hi! We are Blackpink!" The girls introduced themselves in unison after walking in and lining up next to each other.

My roommates were too shocked to say anything for a moment, then Sophie turned to me. "How in the world did you manage...."

"Actually, there's a longer story. Why don't we let the girls sit down and order something, then we can talk. Oh and please don't mind the security here." I explained.

After Jisoo, Jennie, Rosie and Lisa each ordered some food, they turned to my roommates. "So, we heard that you have some suspicions towards Y/N because they... let's just say get pretty lucky with some things here in Korea. You know... the front row tickets to Music Core and the tutoring job at our company... We wanted to clear things up." Rosie started to explain, while Sophie and Ryuji listened very carefully. I think they are still awestruck.

"You see, we happen to have met Y/N in a private setting and got to know them pretty well. You may know that they didn't know much about Korean celebrities when they first got here, so we basically met without Y/N knowing who we are." Jisoo continued the explanation.

"Of course they eventually found out, but we still wanted to be friends, so we kept our friendship secret. Those perks of getting front row tickets to Music Core and letting them know about the tutoring job were merely signs of good will and friendly support. Also, Y/N managed to get the tutoring job all by themselves, we just let them know of the opportunity." Jennie finished the explanation.

"Well, and now we're here because we didn't want you to have ill thoughts towards Y/N and because we heard that you were quite the fan, Sophie. Y/N wanted to make you guys happy." Rosie said while speaking to Sophie directly, who put her hands over her mouth, in disbelief that her Bias actually knew her name.

After a short time of taking in this whole situation, both Ryuji and Sophie apologized to me for facing me with hostility the last few days. We made up and enjoyed a few hours with Blackpink during our own private little "fan event".
