We were back at Sky Park. Rosie rented a random guitar so that she could teach me some chords right away. I was really surprised where she got all that money from.

She sat down on a bench and I also sat down, but on a big rock in front of her, so I could see where she put her fingers and such.

"Okay let's start with tuning the guitar. Give me a second to tune mine and then I'll teach you how to do it." She said and started to strum the strings while fidgeting with the little screws on top of the guitar. It took her maybe 5 minutes until she looked satisfied with how the guitar sounded.

"Okay so each string is assigned to a specific tone. From top to bottom it's E, A, D, G, B and again E. I know how they sound from experience but for a beginner like you, you should use either an app for tuning or you take this little tool and put it on the top." She explained and I took said tool to put it on my guitar. Then we started to tune my guitar together.

"Since your guitar is new, you might have to tune it in the middle of practice again. It's because of the new strings. When you used them for some time, it should be fine to just tune your guitar every time before you play."

She explained me the different sections of the guitars body and then we started to play some easy chords. She had to correct my finger placement quite a few times.

"No, Y/N. Your finger has to be a little higher." She said and showed me on her own guitar. "I'm trying, but it's actually not that easy. My fingers never had to bend like that!" I whined.

She put her guitar next to her, stood up and walked up to me, then she bend down to gently correct my fingers. I was surprised at how soft her touch was.

"Try to relax a little. It's harder when you tense up like that." She said and I unintentionally blushed at how close she was. Rosie looked up and saw my blushing face, I guess she just realized herself how close her face was to mine.

She backed up, got back to her guitar, and cleared her throat. "Let's try again."

We practiced together for a while and I actually learned a lot. Rosie was such a great teacher. But I noticed how her face grew redder and redder for the last few minutes.

"Rosie, are you okay?" I asked rather concerned.

"Yeah, it's just getting harder to breathe under the mask." She said, exhaling deeply.

"Why are you wearing it in the first place? It's summer and pretty hot." I asked and wiped a little bit of sweat from my forehead.

"Oh, uhm..." Rosie stuttered and suddenly she looked kinda flustered. I couldn't really tell with the mask. "I'm actually sick. Y-yeah, I got sick and I don't want to infect other people. That's why I'm wearing the mask. Either way, wanna take a break?"

"Alright then... By the way, how much do we have to get to know each other before I get the kpop lessons you promised?" I asked and walked over to the bench she was sitting on.

Rosie put away her guitar and followed me with her eyes. "You know, we can actually start now. I'll give you some basics today."

She pulled her phone out of her purse and unlocked it. "I thought about telling you about BTS, GOT7, EXO, Red Velvet, Twice and Mamamoo first, since they are among the most popular groups right now. With which do you wanna start?"

I was highly confused by the group names and didn't really know where to start. "I don't know... Well, I've already heard of BTS, why don't we start there?" I suggested and the kpop lessons officially started.

She explained me when they debuted, their overall concept, who the members were, and we watched a few music videos. This structure continued with the other five groups she mentioned before.
