06 - Surprise!

Rosé PoV

"There's something important I need to tell you..." I got extremely nervous when I started that sentence, but Y/N's gentle smile and my members around me calmed me down.

"Sure Rosie, I'm all ears. Is everything okay? You look pale." They said and looked closer into their camera.

"I-I'm fine... Listen, Y/N. I wasn't honest to you, when you asked me about Blackpink. I told you that I don't know them, but the truth is, I'm not just Rosie. I'm Rosé from Blackpink. And I was afraid that you would think different of me when you find out that I'm actually famous, but you deserve to know me for the real me and everything my life has to offer. I hope you're not mad..." I just looked away from the screen, too embarrassed to look at Y/N directly. I expected them to shout at me, be disappointed or any other negative reaction, because I lied to them...

But they just giggled softly.

"Thank you for telling me. It must have been hard to make that decision, I really appreciate your trust in me." They said and smiled.

Wait a second... 

What?

"You're... you're not mad? You don't even sound surprised!" I was so confused.

"Silly Rosie. Did you really think I didn't know? Yes, I don't listen to recently popular kpop right now, but I do live in Seoul for quite some time now. It's hard to live here and not see the faces of Koreas most famous girl group on every billboard around town. I knew for some time now, but I figured it would be best to let you decide, when you're comfortable enough to tell me." Y/N explained and smiled at me.

Oh my gosh, that's a huge weight off my chest.

"When we meet on Sunday, I do have to ask you some questions about Blackpink though. You did promise to teach me after all." Y/N said with a soft chuckle and I had to smile.

"Of course. And I usually keep my promises. I'll tell you everything you want to know." I answered and decided to end the call here. We told each other goodbye and I pressed the red hang-up button.

I didn't even have the time to put down my phone before my three best friends surrounded me and squished me in a group hug.

"OMG that went even better than we expected! I'm so happy for you Chae!" Lisa squealed and pressed her cheek against mine, which made me giggle.

"Thanks guys. I owe you."

Y/N PoV

The days went by and I prepared everything that needed to be prepared for university classes to start. I did it that way so that Sunday could come and I didn't have to think about anything related to school. I wanted to focus on... Rosé.

When I think about it, it sounds even weirder. 

I come to Korea to study, walk around, get lost, randomly bump into a freaking superstar who gives me her number after she takes me home and now we're even friends. What is this, a goddamn fanfiction? 

Before I can blink twice, we might even end up as lovers. Oh come on Y/N, that's ridiculous.

I decided to stop thinking about how odd this whole scenario actually is, I should focus on the here and now.

I got a text from Rosie in which she told me where she wanted to meet up. She also told me to bring my new guitar. Good thing she bought me a whole bunch of equipment, including a guitar bag, so I could transport it without any problems.
