It's been about 4 days since I celebrated Blackpinks win with Rosie. I was laying on my bed, looking at my ceiling.

I just couldn't stop thinking about what almost happened, just before I left the dorm. Rosie and I... We almost...

"Y/N, I can't take this anymore. I don't know what happened to you, but your sulking is unbearable!" Sophie started to scold while bursting into my room. Usually, I was more protective of my private space, but since all my energy went into thinking the last few days, I had no energy to argue with her.

"Aside from classes, you haven't left your room at all for about 4 days! I don't know what's wrong with you, but neither me nor Ryuji can take your grumpy attitude anymore. We're going out! Now get up and hurry outside!" She ordered me and I did as she said, dumbfounded from her command. I didn't even notice that I seemed to be grumpy. Thoughtful maybe, since I thought about the kind of relationship I had with Rosie, but grumpy?

"Listen, I'm sorry if this is out of your comfort zone, but Sophie and I were worried and wanted to cheer you up by taking a walk together." Ryuji tried to apologize for Sophie's rash behavior, but I just smiled and waved it off. "Oh don't worry, I appreciate the thought. Getting out of my room might actually help."

We walked around for quite some time and talked about university and how our studies were going. We also somehow talked about starting part-time jobs, since the living expenses in Seoul were barely covered by our student support money. And we also wanted some financial freedom.

Our conversation got cut short though, because we walked by a very big building and Sophie started to get excited. "Oh my God! That's YG Entertainment! Do you think we might see Blackpink pull up?" Sophie jumped in excitement and Ryuji just chuckled in amusement. "That's highly unlikely, Sophie."

Just as Ryuji finished his sentence, a black van pulled up in the company's driveway and I recognized the license plate immediately. It was Blackpinks van. Speaking about luck.

The girls got off the car and Sophie started to squeal, got her phone out and immediately made some pictures. Apparently the singers across the street noticed and turned to look at us. I could see in their faces that they recognized me, but obviously they couldn't greet me, so they mostly just smiled. Rosie on the other hand looked directly at me, smiled brightly and waved. She didn't look bummed or feeling awkward from our last interaction at all. So, she's fine... I'm glad.

Sophie was still having her fangirl moment, thinking that it was her who one of her favorite celebrities waved at. Meanwhile, Blackpink entered the building, going to work.

I, on my hand, made a decision. I decided what kind of relationship I wanted to have with Rosie. But...

I don't know how she feels. So I won't tell her, unless she initiates to change the current type of relationship we are in. Friendship. As long as she wants us to just be friends, I won't tell her how I feel.

Some time flew by, Rosie and I didn't talk about the incident, we had some time ago, again. So I think my guess was correct and she just wanted to be friends.

I became, what you could call, a regular BLINK. One of Blackpinks supporters. If my schedule and wallet allowed it, I went to their performances and fan sign events. Mainly not because it was a chance to see them, but because I knew that this interaction supported their work. Obviously I was still happy to see them, but it wasn't special for me since I could basically hang out with them at their dorm whenever I wanted. They allowed me to visit them whenever they were home, as long as I let them know first.

I spend time with all of them as a group or sometimes just with Rosie alone. We hang out frequently enough, so I dare to say that I'm friends with all of them. Rosie and I were a little closer though.

"Aww man, seems like it's going to be convenience store food this week again." I mumbled while looking at my nearly empty wallet. I went a little overboard the last time I went to one of Blackpinks events.

"Short on money?" Lisa asked while peaking at my wallet. I was hanging out at Blackpinks dorm, playing games with Lisa while Jisoo and Jennie cooked some dinner. Rosie was on a walk with Hank, so she wasn't at home.

"We noticed that you attend our events more often. Are you sure, you should spend your money on us when your financial situation as a student is already... not the best?" Jisoo asked me with a concerned undertone.

I groaned in frustration and leaned back on their sofa. "I know! But I wanna support you guys and see you every chance I get! You really help me relax from all the uni stress."

"Aww we really appreciate that, but really, Y/N, you should manage your financial situation a little better." Jennie said. Her brutal honesty while still having this kind tone in her voice really took some time to get used to. But she was right. I guess, even millionaires learn to manage their finances and not just throw it out the window.

I didn't even notice that Rosie returned home until Hank ran up to me and started to demand pets. "What's wrong?" She asked while putting away Hanks leash. "Y/N seems to be a little short on money." Lisa explained and I just sat there guilty faced.

"Oh do you need a job? I might know something that would be perfect!" Rosie offered and the other Blackpink members started to groan, as if they were saying "Why didn't I think of that?"

I looked around and Jennie started to explain. "YG Entertainment is actually looking for a tutor. The new trainees have trouble learning English and the old tutor left the company."

"Your Korean got pretty good since you came to Korea, so I don't think you should have any troubles teaching Korean students. You could also think of it as some first-hand experience since you wanna be a teacher." Rosie smiled and sat next to me.

I thought about it for a little before finally nodding. "I mean, I do need the money. And it's a job like anything else. I don't think it would be too suspicious."

"Perfect! I'll let someone in HR know. You still have to apply to the position though, I don't have the power to just get you a job." Rosie explained and I nodded. I appreciate that they gave me the suggestion, but I wouldn't feel comfortable if I only got the job because I know Blackpink.

When I got home, I started to write my application for the tutoring job at YGE. I'd never thought that I would work at a place like this, but to be honest, I can't wait to gain some experience in teaching.

I also made sure to look up some ideas to repay the girls. They helped me a lot recently, it would only be fair to thank them properly.

The next day, Rosie send me the contact information of YG Entertainments HR department, so I could send them my application.

I don't know, why I'm so confident though. They must have tons of applicants...

Oh come on, Y/N! If you don't stop being so pessimistic all the time, you won't get anywhere in life! I'll just have to believe in my capabilities.
