Chapter 85: Gender reveal

1 month later (4th month)

I woke up earlier than usual, its 6:45 am.. I looked at Yoo-ri who are now sleeping with me.. She looks comfortable with me and Im happy with that..

I opened my phone, not moving at all not to wake her up..

I scrolled right to click the twitter app, but I remembered something, "Were going to the ob-gyn's clinic today for her ultrasound" I whispered to myself.. 'wait what time is the appointment?' I thought before looking at the schedules.. 'Its 8! And Yoo-ri takes a long time getting ready, I should wake her up now' I thought, again.

"Jagiya, wake up" I said 20 minutes after I woke up.. I also cooked our breakfast for today so Im just waking her up now.. "Jagiya" I whispered to her ears.. I heard her yawned and saw her stretching her arms.. "Good Morning Jagiya, how's your sleep?" I greeted her as I kissed her forehead..

"Good Morning too! My sleep was great.. what time is it?" She asked..

"7:05 am" I said.. "And we have an appointment with the ob-gyn today" I continued..

"Omg, Im late.." She said.. panicking...

"Shh, just eat.. I prepared our breakfast, come on.." I said..

I waited for her at the dining room because she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and was her face.. "I also prepared Strawberry and Apple smoothie, I know youre craving for it" I said making her grin widely..

"Yay! Best husband ever" She said and pecked my lips..

"Okay okay, sit down now.. you need to gain energy" I said still chuckling at her cuteness.. nothing change, she's still the cute Yoo-ri I fell for before..

"Do you want to take a sip?" She said offering me her smoothie..

"Nooo, I prepared it for you, for you only" I said pinching her cheeks..

"Okayy I'll make some for you next time" She said..

"What do you think our child's gender is?" I asked..

"Hope it's a boy, I really wanted it to be a boy" She said.. while still eating the boiled egg I prepared earlier..

"But I hope it's a girl, it would be nice If I have 2 pretty girls with me.. I'll be super proud." I said and stared at her.. "Im imagining, what if we had a daughter and she's just like you.. aaa that will cause me heart attack" I said and we both laughed..

Minutes of getting ready..

"Jagiya, you sure you didn't have anything to get here in the room? I will lock it" I said waiting for her response..

"I got all what we need, lets go" She said while turning off all the lights..

"Done" I said after locking the room.. "Lets go" We both exited the condo and I locked the front door..

*driving*

"Here we are.." I said... but there's no response.. "Sh, youre sleeping again" I chukled..

I just touch her ears, you can tickle her so easily I swear..

"Ais-- Oh, were here.." She said looking around..

"Lets goo" I said opening the door for her from the outside..

We entered the clinic and were 2 mins late..

"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Yang... Mrs. Yang, follow me please.." The ob-gyn said... "Mr. Yang, you can also come with us if you insist.."

"Sure, I would love to.." I said and followed them inside cheerfully..

The ob-gyn started applying cream on her tummy and started to use the ultrasound equipment..

"As you can see, the baby is getting bigger... but it will get bigger and bigger in the next months.." The ob explained.. "You're feeling more nauseous?"

"Yes.." Yoo-ri said..

"That's normal..." The ob said..

"Uhm, may I ask if were able to know the gender of the baby?" I asked..

"Right! I forgot.. "

"Hope its a boy" Yoo-ri said..

"Believe me Jagiya, its a girl" I said chuckling..

"Doc, tell us who's right, me or Jungwon?" Yoo-ri asked.

"Okay... drumroll please" The ob chuckled... "Let's get to the point, Jungwon got it right!"

"OH MY! AAA ITS A GIRL!" I said as I jumped... and I hugged Yoo-ri..

"aww, my little me.." Yoo-ri said.. "Hope she will look like you" She said..

"I hope you guys will last forever.. Im so enviouss" The ob said..

"Dont worry noona, you will find your man too" I said patting her shoulder..

"I will wait for that Jungwon" She chuckled..

1 day has passed after the Gender announcement, I and Yoo-ri decided to tell them the gender  by ordering cupcakes with white filling, and the other one is pink.. We will hive the pink filled one to the last people on the line.. Lauryn also knows about it, because she is the one who will bake for us..

*door bell rings*

"I will open it" Yoo-ri said..

"EY! GIRL TELL ME NOW" Ningning exclaimed once Yoo-ri opened the door..

"Calm down.. we need to put some twist" Yoo-ri said and chuckled..

"Here's the cupcakes Unnie" Lauryn gave her the box of cupcakes..

"Tell me where's the pink one" I whispered to Lauryn.. and she pointed out the pink one..

"If the filling of the cupcake was blue, then its a boy.. if pink, its a girl.. fall in line please" Yoo-ri said..

"Yahh, what is thiss? Hope its a boyy!" Karina said..

"Hope its a girl, pleasee" Quinne said..

"Same love! I hope its a girl" Jay hyung said..

We gave them all of the cupcakes and I gave the pink filled one to Jay hyung because he's on the end of the line..

"I'll take a bitee" Heeseung hyung said and took a bite.. "eh? Whitee?" He pouted..

The others took their bite too, but its all white..

"Jay.. you're the only one left" Junkyu said..

"Pink please.." Jay hyung closed his eyes and took a bite..

The others squealed seeing the result..

"AAA IM HAVING A NIECE!"
