Bad yawned, opening his eyes and stretching. His back ached from having slept so hard, so he twisted it and popped it. With a sigh of relief he stood up from his spot on the bed and looked around.
Sapnap was still fast asleep, his phone clutched in his hand. Bad gently took it and put it on the nightstand, unplugging his own IPhone and plugging the charger into Sapnap's before turning and looking at the other bed.
Dream was curled up on the side and George was on his face again, legs tucked neatly to the side but arms wide out. Bad wondered how he was able to breathe, but just laughed, bent down and picked up the comforter George had undoubtedly thrown into the floor in his sleep, and tucked it back over each of his friends. His first thought was to find Rat, who hadn't been beside him when he woke up.
He opened the door and stepped out into the hallway, looking around. It was mostly dark except for the single bathroom at the other end of the hall, who's light was shining underneath the crack in the door. Bad waited patiently for a moment, but then realized that if someone was to come out and see him at the other end of the hallway staring at them he would most likely cause a panic. He quickly moved inside the room and away from view, still watching.
It was a full three minutes later that the door opened softly and a shadow stepped out. The light was so bright he wasn't able to pick out features, but the wild hair on top told him all he needed to know.
"Skeppy?" He whispered, stepping out of the door. The other man jumped, looked around, then saw him and began walking towards him.
"Hey- why are you up? Need something?" He asked.
"I was thirsty so I got up."
"Here, go back to bed- I'll go get you a glass of water."
"No- I don't think I can go back to bed. Are you still tired?"
"No, my-" Skeppy peered around for a second before speaking. "You know. I couldn't sleep."
"That's all right- wanna come with me to get a drink? And maybe a snack?" Skeppy's face lit up at the mention of food and he hastily nodded, so the two of them headed off down the stairs together.
The house was deserted. It was dark and had a strange feel, being so large and empty. The only living soul around was Skeppy.
They reached the kitchen, where freshly washed plates from the night before were stacked beside the sink, waiting to be put away. Based on how they were organized to the exact direction the patterns were facing, Bad could only assume it was Technoblade. The YouTuber had proved to be very tedious in the way he cleaned.
"What do you want to eat?" Skeppy asked, opening a cabinet.
"I'm not sure," Bad sighed, opening another. All he found was a big rack of cereal.
Wait- want to make these?" Bad turne to see Skeppy holding a box of muffin mix, smiling weakly. Bad grinned and nodded.
"Get it all out- we might as well make some for everyone." Skeppy nodded and reached up into the cabinet and continued to pull boxes down while Bad rifled through the large pan drawers underneath the counters.
"Jackpot!" He said, pulling free a stack of cupped trays. "This should be more than enough."
"I'll make a bunch of coffee," Skeppy said, yawning. "Wait- does everyone drink coffee?"
"I would say so," Bad shrugged. "Tommy and his whole group are old enough, I don't doubt they've at least had it."
"Okay. Coffee it is, then." Skeppy moved over to the cup rack on the opposite wall. Bad took the largest bowl he could find and set it on the counter.
