The next three weeks fly by incredibly fast for both Bakugo and Kirishima. Every day the sleep together before getting ready for school. Bakugo finally started eating lunch with the 'Bakusquad' and after school the five of them all do their homework, study, and train before eating dinner, messing around, and going to bed. Bakugo continues to be standoffish with everyone, but he has been enjoying the time he spends with everyone, even if he doesn't show. During the weekends they hangout the entire time and Bakugo makes sure that they train as well.
Neither Bakugo nor Kirishima talked about Bakugo's past during this time, but both were okay with it. Kirishima knew how Bakugo felt about everything and didn't want to push anything, especially since everything was going great. Bakugo was starting to actually feel happy and he no longer feared for his life. He stopped cutting, not just because he promised Kirishima, but because he also wanted to. It had only been a short while, but Kirishima had shown Bakugo a life worth living for and Bakugo was more than willing to live it.
~Thursday Night~
"Eraser Head." the small animal says as he sits on the couch. "I want you to take the class away on a vacation tomorrow. Don't tell the other teachers and don't even tell the kids."
Across from him on the other couch, sat a man with long messy blac hair. "Are you sure. Just for Bakugo?"
"Yes. Although it isn't ideal. For the boy's sake I don't want him around during the trial of his abusers. I have written an address down here." The principal hands a small note over to his subordinate. "Please tell the students tomorrow morning to pack two extra clothes. Everything else will be provided for them, like toiletries and food."
"Alright. And I won't say anything until we are there, just in case. But what is the plan if villains attack?"
"Don't worry, I have some heroes working the area while you are staying there and you are more than welcome to make patrols yourself. But don't have the students training or studying, I want them to take a break and get their minds off of their goals for the weekend. If nothing else, Mr. Bakugo has shown us that we need to pay attention to the student's mental health. UA is the most rigorous hero course in the nation and we can't let up, but we must also remember that we are dealing with kids. We can't take away their time now so they can be successful in the future. It is our job to make them successful in the future with the time we have with them, not by taking time away from them."
"Yeah. I just hope everything goes smoothly with the trial. And are you sure you don't want me to go?"
"Yes. I want you with your students Eraser Head."
"And what about his living situation?"
"Hmmm. Well as of right now we have nothing."
"I know it might be a little unorthodox, but we can just let him live here until he graduates."
"Yes, I have thought about that and we might have to do that. Like Tsukauchi said, it would be best to keep him out of foster care. The only problem is I don't want to throw him out onto the street once he graduates. We can't keep him at the dorms when he is no longer a student, but leaving him on his own would be less than ideal. Mr. Bakugo hasn't had a normal life and I am quite certain he won't be able to establish a normal home life on his own."
"We might just have to deal with that problem when it arises."
"I suppose you are right, but let's focus on trying to find different solutions for the time being."
"Yes sir."
~The next day~
"Hey Bakugo where do you think we are going?" Kirishima asks his friend sitting next to him. The class is spread out throughout a bus. Sero and Kaminari sit in front of Bakugo and Kirishima. The rest of the class is dispersed throughout. Most people are talking with their seat partners and the others are fast asleep.
