Minho- new love

So I was thinking how in the glade me and Newt got together, and one of the other characters (Gally, thomas,minho) comfort me about it, and I end up getting feelings for them, and then we confess our feelings for eachother at the same time, and then we kiss. Oh and then Newt is happy in heaven, because he knows she has moved on with someone that will never hurt her or break her heart.

Me and Newt were together for a whole we got together when we were both in the glade together and I thought we were forever.

But then we got out of the maze and we got into the outside world that's when we found out that Newt wasn't immune.

And then he died.

That killed me, I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to carry on with my life without him.

It did get easier though because I had my friends. Thomas, Gally, Frypan and Minho, some of them I have been friends with for along as I can remember.

With them by my side I was slowly getting back to normal or the new normal atleast. Minho helped me the most.

He was there for what I needed and he knew what I needed.

He was there if I needed comforting, if I just needed someone to talk to, if need to just be distracted for a while, or just needed to hang out with my friend and have a laugh which he always could.

Because of this me and Minho became alot closer we were already close as we were close friends in glade and we were running partners.

And because we got closer I started getting feelings for him but I didn't really want to act on them because I felt as though I was betraying Newt.

A while later my feeling started getting stronger and I'm pretty sure Minho was felling the same but it felt wrong to me.

One day Fry came up to me and asked to talk to me in private, which I didn't think was to to odd as frypan is my best friend.

"What are you doing"

"What do you mean"

"You and Minho whats going on"

"Nothing I don't know what your talking about"

He just gave me a look saying don't even try that with me. He always knows when I'm lying.

"Fine... I um... I like Minho"

"Well I know that, and he likes you so what's going on"

"Newt"

That's when Fry looked at me sadly.

"What about him"

"It just feels wrong that I feel this way, like I'm doing wrong to Newt and Minhos ment to be Newts friend"

"y/n listen to me. You are not doing anything wrong do you think Newt would want to be single forever, no he would want you to move on to be happy. And yes Minho was Newts friend which means Newt knows that Minho will love you, protect and treat you right, he woukd be happy for you too"

By the end of that I was starting to tear up.

"Thanks fry" I said while hugging him.

"You need to talk to Minho"

"I will"

-time skip-

I had alot in my mind so I went for a little walk and ended up on a cliff ledge and sat on the edge and just thinking to myself.

Suddenly someone sat next to me I turned around to see it was Minho.

"Hey Fry said you need to talk to me"

I couldn't help but smile about that, of course he told him that.

"Yea"

"So?"

"Well umm.... well I don't really know how to start or really want to say, so I guess I will just say it"

"I love you"

"I love you"

"What?"

"You really that surprised?" He said with a smirk.

"I guess not"

"But how did you know that what I was going to say did Fry tell you what we talked about?"

"No, I just realised that probably what you were going to say from what you were saying. What did you tell Fry".

I told him what me and Fry talked about.

"He's right Newt would want you to be happy"

"I know, and I know with you I will be happy with you"

"I hope you will"

Then all I could think was to kiss him so I did.

I think he was a bit taken by surprise at start but then he leaned into it.

We slowly pulled apart and were just smiling and I knew I was going to be ok.
