Part 30: The Silence

(Sorry for not posting for like a week, I was on the road for a bit.)

Niki had been searching the city with Puffy, Sam, Jack, and Skeppy was also there for some reason. With how loud Tommy and Tubbo were, she thought this would be a lot easier. The job got a lot more stressful when she saw Ranboo standing outside the bakery.

"Ranboo?!" Niki ran up. "Where were you? Weren't you with the others?!"

"Dream is going to kill Tubbo," Ranboo explained. He winced in pain and touched his Head, small black veins crawled up his neck. "Head over to the glass skyscraper!"

"Shit!" Niki muttered to herself and hurriedly turned around to the others. "Over to the skyscraper!"

The six if them ran over to the building Ranboo described. Outside guarding the door was George, Sapnap, and a kid in a purple sweater. All three had a loaded crossbow.

Sapnap leaned over and stage whispered to the kid. "You got these guys?"

He shook his head. "Too many, I can only do one at a time."

"Shit..." George aimed his bow. "Ready?"

Sapnap and the other nodded.

Niki ducked under an arrow and got behind her friends. She was kind if useless right now because there were no plants or seeds that she could feel by the building.

Skeppy was shooting crystals up from the ground at the three and got George in the side of his ribs. Puffy started to suck up energy and the rest of the group backed up. George ran inside but the other two started fighting even more furiously.

Sam made a simple long bow with red energy and picked up an arrow off the ground. He shot it at Sapnap and it went right into his arm. Sapnap retaliated with more fire daggers but they were blocked by a wall of sharp crystals.

Ranboo teleported behind Purpled and he got kicked in the legs. Purpled flipped out of the way and stabbed a knife from his pocket into Ranboo's forearm. He shot his crossbow at Skeppy and it landed in his side. In place of the flesh where he was shot, crystals started covering the wound.

"Niki!" Jack yelled from across the street as he tossed her a small packet. By this time most people have evacuated the street, luckily the city didn't developed a police department yet. Niki took a look at the small bag and saw it was a packet of strawberry seeds.

Niki tore open the paper and scattered them on the ground. The vines quickly grew and engulfed Sapnap and Purpled. Niki pushed them to the side and out of the way of the door.

"Come on!" Niki ran forward into the building, Sam, Puffy, Ranboo, and Jack following.

"I'll have to sit this one out," Skeppy called out, the crystal scar spiking through his hoodie. "Dream might kill me on sight, go save them!"

Purpled had a conflicted look on his face and sighed in disappointment . "You're too late."

A crash sounded from the sky as shards of glass rained down. Niki looked up and saw Tommy falling out of a window, but catching himself with wings he didn't look like he knew how to use. Niki moved some of the strawberry plants under where Tommy was flying.

Niki, Puffy, Sam, Jack, and Ranboo ran into the building and into the elevator. The elevator was made if glass so it could see the outside sky. What did Purpled mean they were too late?

Everything looked fine until Dream also jumped out of the window, clinging onto Tommy's foot with a disc in his hand.
