Eret had a bad feeling on his stomach. Why was that only here now? It wasn't there before, not while planning the party, it was probably cancelled, now that everyone knew what would have happened.

The plan was for Eret to throw a party for everyone in L'Manburg. This would include those who weren't always there, like Jack, Phil, or Techno. Eret would give Dream a signal from his phone and the party would have been ambushed. The L'Manburgians would be locked up in the Schlatt building and Eret would have a new job as the Dream Team's manager. This, attacking Tommy two days before the party, was not part of the plan.

It didn't really resonate with Eret what he was doing until he saw Tommy and Tubbo being tied up and thrown into the trunk. He felt like a kidnapper. Eret thought that the party would have been a one and done deal, but this was much more complicated.

"So Dream," Ant asked. "What were you going to do with the discs? I've never seen you actually use one."

"I have some ideas," Dream shrugged, his face unloving under the mask. "I Only know what some of the discs can do, and I don't know what Cat actually does. Mellohi, however, permanently steals a person's power from them. I don't think I'll use it unless I have to though. An enemy with powers is more useful than one without."

"Remember when we thought Tommy didn't have powers?" Punz asked, smiling. "The good old days. Didn't have to worry about him knowing secrets or anything, it was just plain and simple mugging a child every once in a while."

"Huh," Eret did not know this. Sure, he knew the Dream Team were criminals, but repeatedly bullying someone they saw as a defenseless child? "When did you find out he had powers?"

"George, Sapnap, and I were about to attack him and Tubbo when he shot a yellow energy wave from his hand," Dream recalled. "George and Sapnap both chickened out of the fight, so I ran away with them. Later they said they had to fight Tubbo alone once and he used the same attack, so we just put two and two together."

"Interesting." Eret was really a bad guy now, huh?

The car ride back through the forest was filled with a bit more mindless conversation until Bad asked a question. Eret just noticed he hasn't said a word the entire time.

"You would never use Mellohi on one of us, right?" Bad asked, skeptically.

"Well," Dream shrugged. "Do what you do. Whatever's necessary. As long as you don't stop helping me I won't."

Bad frowned. "So you would?"

"Only if I had to," Dream said. "But that would never happen. You have too much on the line, no?"

Then all Hell broke loose. Bad pulled out a knife and before he even moved Dream already turned around with a crossbow. Punz and Ant leaned towards the doors as Dream fired to not get shot. But Bad already melted into a shadow. The next second he was next to Eret in the passengers seat, strangling Dream.

Dream, being the one driving, swerved the car from side to side until it crashed, and both Bad and Dream were thrown out of the car from the momentum. The discs were on the forest floor, Bad quickly picking up Cat, but Dream swiped Mellohi before Bad could reach it.

They quickly stood up and started yelling and fighting. Punz went to Dream's side and Ant to Bad's, but neither got involved.

Eret ran to open the trunk to get Tubbo and Tommy out of the back. He understood why they might hate his guts, but he already had a record for being a traitor. What was one more betrayal? Tommy stopped time.

"Get going, I'll try to help you hold this longer." Eret said.

With one last insult, Tommy and Tubbo ran back to the city. Eret did his best, but quickly grew very tired. After what felt like twenty minutes, the longest he had ever paused, he let go.
