love letters

"so i need your help with this." langa begged on the floor in cherry's house.

"wouldn't it be obvious it's me because i'm the person with the best handwriting he knows?" cherry tried his best to get himself out of this situation.

langa whined, sighed, and was left hopeless. "ugh... then what am i gonna do? he'll quickly recognize mine!"

"are you sure? you both are pretty dense. especially you, but i bet he wouldn't even think of the possibility that it's you." cherry added.

"hey, don't call him dense!" it was as if langa's brain just ignored how he had also been called dense.

"look my man this robot maniac is actually right, just write them yourself." joe said as he joined the conversation out of nowhere.

"fine, but if he finds out it's your fault!" langa said, pointing both his index fingers at cherry and joe.

"mhm."

"is this really okay?" langa asked after he made miya read his letter. he was kind of embarrassed because of this but miya did have good advice and he always told the truth.

miya shakes his head yes. "it's a bit cheesy but i don't think it's that bad and reki would like it."

langa's whole face goes red. "r-reki?? i never told you anything-"

"you're too obviously in love, langa. i sometimes wonder how reki hasn't noticed it yet."

oh the embarrassment on langa's face.

since langa goes to school with reki, there was no way he could place the letter in his locker in the morning. the only way was going to school half an hour earlier and then returning to their meet-up spot. this would mean langa had to wake up early for 5 days. but hey, only five. for reki.

after a weekend full of skating and basically just having so much fun with reki, finally monday came. that day langa woke up half an hour earlier that day telling his mom that he volunteered for cleaning the classroom in the morning for this week.

luckily reki's locker didn't have a lock. if it did, langa would know it but the problem would be that he would be the only one who knew it.

he opened reki's locker after getting a few "what are you doing here so early in the morning?" looks from teachers.

after he placed the letter he went back to the place he meets with reki in the morning. a minute later reki appears. right on time!

"morning, reki."

"good morninggg" reki replies.

god he's so cute when he's cheerful like this.

they skate together to school and stop by the lockers to change shoes.

"huh? what's this?"

oh he saw it he saw it he saw it- how will he react? was this a bad idea? should i have not done this and just confess? would reki even want to be friends anymore if he rejects me after this? oh shit what am i gonna do-

"langa, can you hear me?"

"huh?"

"that was the third time i called your name dude."

"oh. sorry, looks like i spaced out a bit. haha..."

"okay? well check this out, i think someone wrote me a letter."

"looks like a love letter." added langa, peeking at the paper in reki's hands.

"they must have confused the lockers..."
