✯YOU✯

Mahoutokoro felt empty and cold. Everyone left to watch the last task - only a couple aurors were patrolling, here and there; you noticed them immediately, apparating and dissaparating on the tower rooftops. Walking around the islands and magical towers, you watched your reflection in the cold waters of the glowfish pond. Seokjin's eyes were staring back at you from the water.
Polyjuice potion truly was a marvel. Anyone would have been fooled by your appearance, even Seokjin's own twin. You knew it had to be more than just appearance, though. If he came forth, that day, you had to be a convincing Seokjin - enough to lure him in closer, and attempt to capture him.
You kept a sharp eye as you kept roaming the academy's grounds. Other than possibly facing
Seok-jun, you knew you also had to avoid him actually stumbling upon the actual bow. Obviously, you had no clue to where it was, or where it could be hidden: that was the whole point of Namjoon, Yoongi and Seokjin's secret promise. But it was somewhere, concealed around Mahoutokoro - so you had to make sure there wasn't suspicious activity, in case Seok-jun actually managed to find its placement.

'Or else...'
you pushed the thought away.
You didn't need the added pressure.

You wondered how Jungkook was doing. Was he playing his role well? If Seok-jun was watching..., could he suspect it was anyone else than Seokjin left in Mahoutokoro? Could anyone else?
You silently prayed Yoongi would be too immersed in his role as a Champion's mentor to even focus on 'you' and notice something. You wondered how, exactly, Namjoon had managed to sneak Seokjin away - and by using which excuse. There was no fucking way Seokjin would have agreed to any of this: putting someone else on the front line wasn't his style. 'What kind of lies did he convince you with?' The thought crossed your mind, imagining what kind of scenarios could have convinced your friend to leave Mahoutokoro and not assist the Tournament.

'Oh god, Misha...' you felt overwhelming guilt knowing you weren't there, not really, for your student during her last task. You hoped briefing Jungkook on what kind of advice and support to give her would be enough... still, it wouldn't replace the real thing. And Seokjin's advice and calmness... Misha was going to face the last task withouth the support she needed.
Fuck. But this was important, dangerous - you were needed here, more useful than as a spectator at the Tournament... still, you felt overwhelmingly guilty for Misha and the other champions.
Misha didn't have anything to do with all this, yet, unknowingly - she didn't have either of her mentors with her on that eventful day.

Over an hour had passed since everyone left. Of course, Seok-jun wouldn't just show up merely hours after everyone's departure.
Two hours. You downed another sip of polyjuice, nasty thing, to make sure you still kept Seokjin's looks on your skin. Still nothing. The aurors were still patrolling, here and there, as you did.
You decided to check out each Tower, making sure no-one was lurking around the classrooms, dorms, library and halls.

Three hours. You roamed through the library's huge shelves, as books magically hovered themselves to place, re-arranging themselves how they deemed fit. A soft smirk appeared on the corner of your lips as you eyed the wooden table on which Yoongi had taken you, months prior, for the first time. How could you forget it? Your spread your hands around its surface, remembering how it felt on your skin - the wood, the darkness, Yoongi's roughness...

The bowtuckle in your shirt began whispering something in your ear. Your heartbeat increased, a natural reaction to your anxiety rising: you silently took a couple breaths to clear your mind and ease your nerves.  Someone new had entered the island. A couple minutes later, distinct footsteps echoed in the library, running, catching your immediate attention, whisking you away from your memories. Instinctively, you crouched and slid away, hiding yourself behind one of the large shelves, eyeing the intruder between the moving books. The individual came in running at first - but he was quiet now, as you both were the only presences in the huge library... they were being cautious.
They were as suspicious of your presence as you were of theirs. Was it Seok-jun?
