Maddy's POV
I woke up a few hours later and slumped through to the kitchen.
"Hey sis, whats going on?" Ed asked following me to the kitchen, closing the door
"Ed, I'm adopted.." I whispered

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to." Ed reassured me as we pulled up outside the house
"I want to meet them, properly." I nodded
It had been a week and I had finally decided to speak to my real parents.
Climbing out of the car, we walked into what was my family home.
"Maddy." Ed's Mum embraced me into a hug
Smiling she walked with me to the living room where my real parents were sitting.
"Hi." I mumbled sitting across from them
"Maddy dear, we're so sorry. It must have been so much for you to take in." he smiled softly at me
Now looking at my adopted parents and my real parents I don't know how I never noticed I wasn't related to Ed. We looked noting alike I had light brown hair and brown eyes, my adoptive Mum and blonde hair and blue eyes, Dad had ginger hair like Ed and they all had blue eyes.
My real Mum had dark brown hair and Dad had light brown hair and they both had brown eyes.
"Why don't the three of us go out for a coffee? We can get to know you better." My real Mum suggested
"Ok." I nodded as we got into their car
Waving good bye to Ed we drove off.
"So, Maddy." Mum started stirring her coffee "Tell us a bit about your self."
"I....um,." I started when a young teenage girl approached our table
"Hi." I smiled at her
"Hi." she said shyly "Could you please sign this?"
"Of course, sweetie." I grinned, signing her small notepad.
"Thank you Maddy." She smiled
"No problem gorgeous, nice meeting you." I waved as she made her way back to her family
"You have fans?" Dad asked
I shrugged "Spy World, just got really big really quickly."
"Wow, who'd of thought it? Our daughter, a famous actress." Mum sighed
"Obviously not you when you signed me up for adoption." I muttered
"What?" Dad asked
"Nothing." I put on a fake smile "So, why did you abandon me?"
"We never abandoned you dear. It was complicated..." Mum started
"I've got time." I said resting back in my seat
"Well, I got pregnant when I was very young, 15. Your father and I couldn't cope, we didn't have enough money. Our parents kicked us out, we were living in homeless shelters. I knew this was no life for a baby. We knew we had to give you up, so you could have the good life you deserved. Maddy, it was one of the hardest things we ever had to do." she said almost ending in tears
"Oh, I'm sorry." I said sitting up
"But, I agree we should have told you earlier." Dad said
"You do know I'm not going to change my name. I've been brought up a Sheeran, I will always be a Sheeran." I stated
"Of course." Mum said "Well, it's been great speaking to you. Maybe we could see you again soon?"
"Yeah, of course." I nodded
"We'll drive you back to your home if you want." Dad smiled
"No it's fine, I'm close to the boys house here. Bye." I smile getting up and starting the ten minute walk
When I got home I was greeting a hug from Liam
"How were they?" he asked, his arms locked around my waist
"Okay, they told me why they put me up for adoption." I sighed into his chest
"Is there not some kind of connection between you and your real mother though?"
"I just don't feel anything, I feel like I should though."
"Well, I've got the perfect thing to take your mind off it." he smiled
"You didn't have to do anything.." I smiled as he dragged me to the kitchen where there was a small box
"You got me a present?" I gasped
He shrugged, a small smile on his face.
I carefully opened the box to reveal a pandora bracelet
"It's beautiful." I gasped, slipping the bracelet with red charms on it onto my wrist "My favourite colour too!"
"You deserve it!" he smiled
"Thank you so much Liam!" I hugged him "Your the best friend ever."

"So whats the big surprise then?" I smiled as Niall pulled me into the living area that night
"Well, since it's really boring here.." Harry started
"We decided to book a holiday for us all!" Louis finished
"We're going to Rome!" Zayn cheered
Everyone cheered and smiled
"When are we leaving?" I asked
"Tomorrow morning, go pack." Liam smiled
Everyone ran off to their rooms, packing what the would need
"Okay, so who else wants to come late night shopping?" I asked biting my lip
"I need to." Zayn admitted
"Maddy, you know my style and size. I'll give you the money." Liam said, digging into his wallet
"No, you got me my bracelet. I'll get you clothes, anyone else?"
"Can you get me some sun glasses, flip flops and swimming shorts?" Niall asked
"Course." I nodded
"I need some shorts and underwear and.." Harry trailed off
"Okay, okay." I laughed " Zayn and I will go holiday shopping for you all."
"Lets go." Zayn smiled as we walked out of the house, greeted by the cool night air of London
"We can do this, we've got three hours until most shops close." I said as we headed for the town centre
"And seven summer wardrobes to work out." he sighed
"We can do it." I reassured him, smiling as we linked arms.
