Movie Night

I had just finished making the popcorn when someone knocked on my door.

"Coming!" I yelled, remembering I had locked the door

I wiped my hands on a dish towel and made my way towards my front door

"Hello?" I smiled, opening the door then my smile faded

"Hey Mad's." the English accent spoke with a small smile

"Hey Liam." I breathed out

After a few seconds he pulled me into his arms

"I've missed you so much." he sighed into my neck

We hugged for a few minutes, finally breaking apart.

I stepped back, letting him into my apartment

"How did you know where I live?" I asked as he found his was to the living area, falling onto the sofa

"Great to see you too Maddy," he chuckled then shrugged "I know people."

I sighed, then smiled. This is my best friend, even after three month apart it's like nothings changed

"So, how are you?" he asked, turning to face me straight on

"Yeah okay. Working a lot, you?" I asked

"Pretty much the same," he nodded "It's been so weird without you with us."

"Yeah well, things change Lee." I shrugged

"I know, but people don't." he said softly

"I suppose." I said quietly

"Harry misses you, a lot." he said

"I miss him too." I admitted quietly

"Well what is honestly stopping you getting back together?" he asked

"We're stopping each other, we're not good together." I said sadly

"You know that's not true Maddy. You guys are great together, you're both happy. That' all that should matter." he spoke

"But..." I started as there was a knock at the door then Taylor walked in

"Oh, sorry. Should I go?" he asked

"No, it's fine." I shook my head, not wanting to continue the conversation was I having with Liam, because I honestly didn't have the answers for him

Liam stared at me for a second then at Taylor, then back to me.

"Do you want to stay? We're having a movie night." I offered Liam

"I can't, we've got a concert in a few hours. You should come." he grinned at his idea

"I don't know Liam..." I trailed off

"Come." he said 

"I promised Taylor we would have a movie night..." I tried

"He can come too." Liam said quickly

I looked at Taylor and he gave me a small smile and a shrug

"Fine. We'll come. But I'm not coming back stage, I just want to be in the crowd."  I gave in

"Woo!" Liam cheered hugging me

I sighed, as we all got up. I checked myself in the mirror, skinny jeans and a jumper. Well, who am I trying to impress?

"Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked Taylor as we trailed behind Liam

"I think the question is, are you sure you want to do this?" he said with a small smile

"Better now than later, eh?" I said, returning the smile

He nodded as we exited the hotel lobby and out into the warm American air.

I noticed a few paps around as we climbed into Liam's car.

"Liam, I'm not sure about this..." I gulped as we pulled up at the arena, thousands of screaming girls only held back by a barrier

"Maddy, you can do this." he reassured me
