It slipped out...

"Welcome back to The Late Late Show." The Host said directly to the camera "Now we have, One Direction!"

Cheers erupted form the audience, we all waved and smiled form our place on a comfy sofa

After about ten minutes, that dreaded question came up.

"So, who's single?" he asked

Niall raised his hand, everyone looked at me

Maddy and I are keeping everything a secret, but I don't want to hurt her feelings by saying I'm not dating anyone. Agh, what to say, what to say?

"Uh,.....Uh, I um..... Err.." I started to sweat, come on Harry! 

Man up!

"Uh.." I stuttered

Maddy's POV

"Ed, put on The Late Late show." I called from the kitchen of my new apartment

"Why?" he asked from the sofa

"Feet down," I pushed his feet off of the fresh leather "The boys are on."

"So, who's single?" the host asked

Niall raised his hand and everyone looked at Harry

Come on Harry, say single. Single!

"Uh,.....Uh, I um..... Err.." He stuttered, sweat forming at his hairline

Oh, no. Ed looked at me suspiciously before focusing on the TV again

"Uh.." he said, everyone was staring at him

"I, uh... single." he squeaked

Phew! I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding in.

"Maddy, is there something you have to tell me?" Ed asked

"What do you mean?" I asked, acting always comes in handy!

"You know what I mean, you and Harry?" he raised an eye-brow

"We're just friends Ed, calm it." I said

"Really? Don't lie to me Maddy." he said

"Uh," I stuttered

"I knew it!" he said, shoving me

"Ow! What do you mean you knew?" I asked, shoving him

"It was so obvious, the way you look at each other." he said softer

I smiled at the ground

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" he asked

"I didn't know what everyone would say after last time.." I trailed off, my eyes went wide

Shit! Ed didn't know about Harry cheating on me last time

"What happened last time?" he asked eye narrowing

"Uh, nothing." I squeaked

"Maddy." he groaned

"Fine! I'll tell you." I yelled

He looked at me, turning the TV off

"Harry cheated on me last time." I whispered after a while

"He what?!" he yelled, standing up and grabbing his jacket "I'm going to kill him."

"No, Ed!" I yelled, grabbing his arm "He was drunk, he didn't know what he was doing!"

"He still hurt you! I can't believe you never told me." he yelled, pulling out of my grasp and out of my apartment
