Rescued?

"Guys, it's been a week. No one has seen her, we have to report Maddy missing." Ed said, running a hand through his hair, pulling at the ends

"Finally." Liam sighed "Lets go to the police."

Maddy's POV

I carefully picked up the glass of water and took a small sip.

A week in this stupid attic room. Why has nobody realised I'm missing?

I heard the TV down stairs get turned on.

'Breaking news, actress Maddison Sheeran has been reported missing. No one has seen her in a week, she was last seen at her parents house in East London last Saturday. If anyone has seen her or knows anything about her whereabouts please get in contact with the police immediately.' It said

Yes, finally! There was no way could get out of here alone.

The TV was switched off and the sound of heavy footsteps came up the stairs

"Did you hear that, you've been reported missing, soon we'll send the ransom out." Dad said

"Whatever." I sniffed

"Look Maddy, I don't want to hurt you. We just really need money." he said softly

"So kidnapping your niece and locking her in a room, only giving her two meals a week and a glass of water a day is the way to do that?" I asked, anger in my voice

"We're desperate!" he groaned

"You could have just asked for the money, but you can forget it now." I said

He got up and walked out, slamming and locking the door behind him.

I groaned in frustration, slamming my tied up hands against the wall.

A quiet shattering sound came from my wrist. Oh, please tell me I haven't broken a bone.

I looked down to see the bracelet Liam had bought me, one of the charms had broken, leaving a sharp edge.

Fantastic, I groaned again, sliding down the wall

Wait, if the charm has a sharp edge, could it cut through the rope?

I managed to turn the charm around, sharp edge against the rope and started trying to cut it.

This was going to take forever.

Ed's POV

"I can't believe no one has seen her." I groaned

"What if....What if something has happened to her?" Nial gulped

"No, we cant think like that." Harry shook his head

I looked around, everyone looked terrible. Most of us haven't slept properly in a week, we looked a mess, the house was a mess. Everything had crumbled without Maddy being here

Maddy's POV

Yes! It worked! I managed to cut the ropes off!

I stood up and stretched my arms for the first time in a week. Owww, everything hurts.

Now, how do I get out of here? 

I looked around, only a tiny window, no way I could fit through that.

-Knock knock-

"Police, open up please." A yell came from down stairs

I looked out of the tiny window, two police men were at the door.

Yes!

I pressed my ear to the door, listening to the conversation

"Hello officers, can I help you?" I heard Mum, or Auntie whatever she is, Kidnapper

"Do you know the where abouts of Maddison Sheeran?" one of them asked

"No officers, she left here on Sunday night. We thought she had returned to her friends." she lied

"Do you mind if we search your home?" the second police officer asked

"Uh, uh..." she stuttered

With that I heard the police enter the house

Finally, I could be getting rescued

"HELP! HELP! I'M UP HERE!" I yelled, pounding on the door with my fists.

Phew, this takes up a lot of energy. 

"HELP!" I screamed again

Then there was pounding footsteps.

I stepped back from the door

"Maddison, are you in there?" one of them yelled

"Yes!" I yelled

"Okay, stand back. I'm going to break down the door." the guy yelled

I nodded, retreating to the small window. I looked out to see my kidnappers handcuffed and being forced into a police car.

Booya!

After a few minutes the door was knocked down

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said, hugging the police man

"Come on, lets get you home." he said, leading my down the stairs where more police and and ambulance had arrived

Everything went into slow motion, paramedics rushed over to me, checking everything. Then a few other cars pulled up, Ed and the boys ran out, my adopted parents too. They ran over to me, pulling me into hugs, asking if I was okay.

Everything became blurry, the ground moved from beneath my feet, my head started spinning and then the ground rushed up to meet my body and everything went black.

Harry's POV

-Ring Ring-

"Hello?" I answered the phone

"Hello this is officer Fletcher, I am informing you that my co-workers have found Maddison Sheeran. She was in her parents home at..." was all I heard.

I dropped the phone and grabbed my keys

"GUYS THEY FOUND MADDY!" I yelled, everyone sprinted out of their rooms

"Come on!" I yelled and everyone ran out into different cars, Ed came in mine and everyone else got in Louis

Ed phoned his parents as I sped to Maddy's parents home, Louis car close behind me

As I turned the corner, there were police cars and an ambulance outside of their home.

A police officer was helping a frail looking Maddy out.

I slammed on the breaks. We all jumped out of the cars and sprinted over to her, where paramedics were checking her over,

Ed's parents pulled up and ran out, towards Maddy too.

We all pulled her into a massive hug, asking her if she was okay, telling her how much we had missed her

Over my shoulder, I saw a news team turn up, camera's at the ready.

God, can't we get any privacy?

When I looked back at Maddy, her eyes were closed and she looked paler. Then she collapsed to the ground.

"Okay everyone move!" A paramedic yelled "Give her some space!"

We all moved out of the way as they picked her up and carried her into the ambulance.

Maddy, please be okay.

"Harry, are you crying?" Louis asked

"No, I got some dust in my eyes." I lied, wiping away the tear
