You what?

"I never want to see him again." I said, cuddled up to Liam as he tried to calm me down

"I don't blame you." he said

"I'm so happy your my best friend," I sighed contently "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Harry's POV

"Do you realise what you've done?" I yelled at Diamond

"I didn't see you refusing." she smirked

"You gave me no choice!" I yelled, exasperated

She shrugged with a stupid smile.

"Who even invited you here?" I asked

"I promised I wouldn't tell." she batted her eye-lashes

"So someone sent you here and told you to tell me that you knew how Maddy's real parents were. It must be someone close to her, not many people know about it. I can't believe this!" I yelled, running a hand through my hair

"You look stressed baby, I could calm you down." she tried to be seductive, rubbing my shoulders

"Oh, piss of." I shrugged her hands off of me and returned to the boys

"How could you do that to Maddy?" Niall asked

"You don't understand..." I started

"No. You're right. I don't. I thought you loved her and I thought you were a decent guy." he said, getting up then walking out

Zayn shook his head, following Niall.

"Lou, please listen to me." I begged, tears forming in my eyes

"Come on, we'll go home and talk about it." he sighed, throwing an arm over my shoulder as we exited the club

"I've really messed up, haven't I?" I sobbed

"Yeah, you have. Maddy's a fantastic girl but he's been through a lot. She didn't deserve this." he said

"I know, I feel so bad. I need to go see her." I said

"No. We're going home. You need to calm down and so will Maddy. Leave it until the morning." he said sternly

I nodded as we pulled into our complex and climbed the stairs to my apartment where Ed was standing outside the door

"Look, Ed, I can explain.." I started

"No, you don't need to. I'm sorry Harry." he sighed, pulling me into a hug

"What?" I asked, confused

"Diamond is my friend, I asked her to help me split you and Maddy up. But I said in the best way possible so none of you were hurt. When Maddy came home, she looked so upset and I felt so bad and.." he rambled

"Wait. You arranged for Diamond to break Maddy and I up?" I asked

"Well, kind of. But I didn't mean like this. I'm so sorry Harry." he said quietly

"You ruined my relationship because you weren't happy. You ruined your little sisters relationship because you didn't like her boyfriend. Everything was finally going right and you ruined it!" I yelled

"I...I'm sorry Harry... I just didn't think..." he stuttered

"No. You clearly didn't think." I spat

"I'll go explain to Maddy. I am sorry, I never meant for any of this to happen." he said, tears forming in his eyes

I waved him off, entering my apartment with Louis and slamming the door behind me.

"I need a drink." I groaned going into the kitchen and pulling out a bottle of vodka

"Harry, I don't think you should be drinking.." Louis started

"What's going to happen? What else can possibly go wrong in my life right now?" I asked, pouring it into a glass

"Harry, please. You know it wont help." Louis rested his hand on my shoulder

Maddy's POV

I need ice-cream. I got out of my bed, making my way into the kitchen and getting a tub of ice-cream and grabbing a spoon for Liam and I.

"This feels far to familiar." I sighed, remembering to when I was comforting Liam about his break-up

He nodded with a sad smile.

We heard the door open and Ed walked in, his eyes red and puffy.

"Are you okay?" Liam asked

"Yeah, uh, could I talk to Maddy alone please?" he asked

"Sure." Liam nodded, getting up and leaving

"Maddy," he sighed deeply "You can't blame Harry for tonight."

"I can, he kissed another girl right in front of me." I said, why has his attitude changed so much?

"No, you don't get it. I set Diamond and Harry up a year or so ago. They had nothing in common and he didn't like her, she just satisfied his needs I suppose. I called her to go to the club you were in. I asked her to break you both up. But I said in the nicest way possible, I didn't mean for anything of this to happen." he said quickly

"Wait. You set everything up, so me and Harry would break up?" I asked

"Kind of, but it was in your best interest Maddy.." 

"No. It clearly wasn't. I was in love, we were happy and you ruined it because you didn't like it. Ed you can't control my life all the time. I will date people that you wont like and you'll have to deal with it. You date people I don't like and I don't try to ruin your relationship. No one thinks Harry and I should be together, well it's not up to anyone else. It's up to us. We might not be good for each other but we're both happy and we love each other. That's all that matters, right?" I said

He nodded "I'm really sorry Maddy."

I sighed, dragging an arm across my face, wiping away stray tears.

"Nothings ever going to be the same again." I said
