(Y/n) grabbed her sword and tied it on her hip, ready for anything. She got into a boat with Jack, Elizabeth and James. Pintel and Ragetti were rowing, but Ragetti was rowing faster than his companion.

"You're pullin' too fast." Pintel said.

"You're pullin' too slow! We don't want the Kraken to catch us!" Ragetti replied fearfully.

Jack, who sat in the front of the boat cradling his jar of dirt, jerked his head back to the two at the comment, scared.

"I'm savin' me strength for when it comes. And I don't think it's 'kracken' anyways. Always heard it said 'krayken'." Pintel stated.

"Wha, with a long A?"

"Uh-huh."

"No, no, no, no, no. 'Krocken' is how it's pronounced in the original Scandinavian, and 'kracken' is closer to that."

"Well we ain't original Scandinavian, are we? 'Krayken'."

"It's a mythological creature. I can calls it what I wants!"

"Will you both just shut UP." (Y/n) nearly yelled, causing them to nod fearfully at her tone of voice.

Once they docked the boat, Jack took off his brown coat and left his dirt, picking up one of the shovels as James took the other.

"Guard the boat. Mind the tide. Don't touch my dirt." Jack said as he walked away.

Elizabeth, James, Jack and (Y/n) walked through the island of Isla Cruces. Once they reached a quite sandy area, Elizabeth had stopped with the compass, turning and walked the other way. James stood with (Y/n) as they watched her pace. This continued on for a while, until Elizabeth shook the bloody thing and dropped it.

"This doesn't work!" she said and sat down, upset. All this time, they could've been chasing after Will, but Jack just wanted his damn chest.

Jack walked over and looked down at his compass. "Yes it does. You're sitting on it."

Lizzie looked up at him and asked, "Beg pardon?"

"Move!" he motioned for her to get up. He whistled to James who now held both shovels. The former commodore shoved one of them in the ground before taking the other and started to dig.

As he dug, Jack sat down and began to 'meditate'. (Y/n) cleaned her blade, making the edge sharp and the metal beautiful. When they heard a thump from the shovel, everyone looked up at James. Brushing aside what was left of the sand, they lifted it up a dirtied chest into the sand. Breaking the lock, Jack quickly opened it up to reveal what lie inside.

It was a bunch of old letters covering a smaller chest. (Y/n) bent down next to Jack and picked one up, reading it. "They're love letters..." she muttered, mostly to herself.

My dearest,

I count down the days until I can be with you once more, my love.

Only three more years to go.

Jack brushed aside the paper and lifted the dark chest from it's hold. They all put their ears next to the chest and listened to see if this truly was the chest of Davy Jones. After a moment, they heard a muffled heartbeat. (Y/n) gasped lightly.

"It's real." Elizabeth said in awe.

"You actually were telling the truth." James claimed.

"I do that quite a lot, yet people are always surprised." Jack said.

"With good reason!" said a familiar voice behind them.

Elizabeth did a double take, a smile growing on her face as she muttered the name of her love. "You're all right! Thank God! I came to find you!". She ran to him and took him in a long overdue hug, kissing him deeply. When they pulled away, (Y/n) took the Turner boy in a hug, glad to see he was safe.
