Jack stood at the mast and watched as the girl he loved walked to the boats. He knew now how he truly felt for her, for there was no one else like (Y/n) Rogers.
"Jack." He heard, and turned to see Elizabeth who bore a sad look. "You came back for her."
"Of course." Jack said looking at the girl.
"Thank you."
"We're not out of this yet." Jack told her, and she jumped into a hug. He stumbled back lightly at the force. Allowing her just this one moment, he brought up one hand, but felt his other hand get pushed back, and heard a click.
She had chained him to the mast.
Pulling back, he could see tears of guilt in Elizabeth's eyes, for (Y/n)'s sake. She didn't want to do this, but there was no other choice.
"It's not us." she croaked. "This is the only way, don't you see? I-I'm so sorry.... for (Y/n)... I didn't want to do this but I had to."
Jack smirked on the outside, but was absolutely terrified on the inside. "Pirate." he told the girl. "Tell her one thing." Jack said, as a last request. He wasn't about to go down yet. Elizabeth looked at him as he spoke. "Tell her I love her." His face was one of solemn longing, for he knew he most likely would not escape this fate.
A single tear streamed down Elizabeth's cheek as she nodded, knowing that it was something (Y/n) needed to hear. She loved him deeply, and Elizabeth now knew he loved her as well. "I will."
As Elizabeth exited the boat, Jack looked to his chained hand. He didn't want to die. Not yet. He began pulling on the chain desperately, but heard screams of sorrow emanate from beside the boat. It was (Y/n). She was screaming his name, trying to get back to him. He didn't want that. He wanted her safe.
He felt the boat shift unnaturally, and his fear grew ten-fold. Jack looked around and spotted a lamp not far from him. He used his sword to pick up the bloody thing, and smash it against the mast. The oil dripped from it, allowing a lubricant for him to try and squeeze his hand out of the small shackle.
He managed to struggle his hand out of the metal, moving his rings so they were out of the way. One last pull, and his hand was free. He looked at it triumphantly, until he noticed a terrible stench. The stench of a thousand rotting corpses...
Looking beside him, he saw the mouth of Death waiting for him.
The Kraken roared loudly, showing its hundred of sharp, pointy teeth as its saliva sprayed from it's mouth. It covered Jack head to toe, and once it stopped, he shivered in disgust, wiping a bit away from his face.
"Not so bad..." he muttered, although internally he was grimacing. Looking down, he saw the hat he lost. He picked it up, flicking it to remove the goop. He placed it on his head, and smirked up at the leviathan. "'Ello beastie." he said, and drew his sword.
He watched as the Kraken drew nearer, a small man with a sword against death itself. In the last moments before he swung his sword forward and was devoured, he only thought of the girl he prayed was safe. The girl he couldn't bear to lose.

As the crew sailed through the river to Tia Dalma's hut, they saw the river full of the island's inhabitants, all holding a candle, some crying.
But all were mourning Jack Sparrow.
The sound of Will's knife hitting wood filled the air as they sat in Tia's hut. (Y/n) was next to Elizabeth, who was holding her best friend. (Y/n) had run out of tears to cry as she mourned the loss of the only man she had ever loved. She clutched the large opal necklace in her hand, the one Jack had given her only a year ago
Tia walked in with a tray full of mugs, a candle in the center of them. She first walked to the other girls, and held it out for them to take a drink. Neither did.
"Against d'e cold, and d'e sorrow." Tia muttered to them both, and they hesitantly each took one.
She knelt down by Will next and said, "It's a shame. I know you're t'inkin' d'at wi'd d'e Pearl, you could have captured d'e devil and set free your father's soul."
"Doesn't matter now." Will said as he took a mug. "The Pearl is gone, along with its captain."
"Aye, and already the world seems a bit less bright." Gibbs said, making (Y/n) squeeze her eye shut, feeling the waves of sorrow. "He fooled us all right till the end, but I guess that honest streak finally won out." He looked around, then raised his cup. "To Jack Sparrow."
"Never another like Captain Jack." Ragetti raised his mug.
"He was a gentleman o' fortune, he was." Pintel stated.
"He was a good man." Elizabeth said shakily.
(Y/n) didn't say anything, for she knew the dam would break if she did. Elizabeth looked at her friend, knowing she had to pass on Jack Sparrow's last message to her.
"(Y/n)" she muttered, and the girl looked at her. "Before he... stayed, he wanted me to tell you something. He wanted me to tell you... that he-" Elizabeth cut herself, choking on her words. "That he loves you."
"Elizabeth..." (Y/n) croaked, one tear falling down her cheek. It landed on the pendant in her hand, her sorrow mixing with the joy she felt when she first received the gift from Jack.
"If there was anything that could be done to bring him back... (Y/n)..." Will started, but Tia Dalma interrupted him.
"Would ye do it? Hm?" She looked at (Y/n). "What would you... hm? What would any of you be willin' to do, hm? Would ye sail to d'e ends of d'e eart' and beyond to fetch back witty Jack and 'im precious Pearl?"
"Aye." Gibbs said. Jack was more than his captain. He was his friend.
"Aye!" Pintel stood.
"Aye." Ragetti nodded.
"Aye!" Zazu squawked, and Cotton raised his cup.
Elizabeth nodded her head, softly saying, "Yes."
"Aye." Will whispered.
"Aye. Anything." (Y/n) stood up.
Tia smiled and said, "All right. But if you go and brave d'e weird and haunted shores at World's End... then, you will need a captain who knows d'ose wata's."
The sound of footsteps on wood was heard, and the crew looked to see a man walking down the stairs. A man they all believed to be dead.
"So tell me, what's become of my ship?" Hector Barbossa asked, biting into an apple as Jack the monkey swung onto his shoulder.
