( WARNING- Violence, screaming, arm breaking! if you are sensitive to this please skip!)

Darkness filled the room as the girls stood soundlessly, a sudden lack of light from whatever was opening the door. A whisper called out to them, mutated voices of those they had been living by for years.

Shaking, Atlas tried to quietly pull on the hatch, causing a louder creak to echo out. The door suddenly stopped creaking, and for a second Loreli thought that maybe whatever was outside ran off.

The door started getting cut once more, this time faster than before. The shadow that was coming through the door inched towards the girls, and Atlas lost all care for being quiet. Loreli turned to help, finally shaking off the sense of paralysis that blanketed her.

The door was rusted shut, but with both girls combined strength it came open with a wide swing. A long, short, tunnel lead up to stairs that would lead above ground. Though they may die of radiation, it was better than whatever was behind the door.

Getting down on her hands and knees, Loreli's tall frame crawled through the tight fitting tunnel. Atlas got down aswell, getting ready to crawl through when another bang stopped her. Turning around, there was a lanky, shadowy, figure standing in the door. Its features were hidden by clothes that twisted and danced like actual shadows, causing sudden fear to spark in Atlas. A creature stood behind the figure, having the build of a large dog. Both were covered in this shadowy substance.

Lorelei turned to see what was holding her sister up, only to see the same figures as Atlas. Reaching back, she tried to grab her sister until she realized she was too far.

The figure moved silently and quickly, yanking at Atlas' frozen and causing a piercing scream to rip through her mouth. The substance burned her skin, leaving the feeling of her entire arm being ripped apart over and over. A burning smell filled the two girls nose as the urgency of the situation dawned on the sisters.

¨ Atlas!¨ Lorelei cried out, struggling to turn and try to grab her sister before it was too late. The older sister choked out a scream, her mouth opening and closing as it gasped from the sudden lack of air. She watched as her sister was knocked unconscious by the lanky figure, her eyes filling with tears and her adrenilene kicking in..

Finnaly being turned around, the girl shuffled towards the seemingly amused figure.

" Atlas! give! my sister! back!" the tired girl yelled out, her adrenilene dwindling as the figure chuckled in a deep voice. Loreli finnaly got close enough to throw a weak punch at the figure, only for her arm to be caught and twisted around. A sickening crack filled her ears as her paralyzing scream echoed through the room. Her mind drifts from darkness to being filled with her screma sshe didn't realize she was letting out.

The figure didn't give another look as they grabbed Atlas uncouncious body/

The dog-creature rushed forward, helping its owner drag Atlas down the hall. The three disappeared in a wave of shadow, leaving no trace as to what just occurred. Lorelis vision flickered one last time, her mouth forming words before her brain could.
