Loreli mumbled in her sleep, twisting and turning as she slowly woke up.
Her head was on her clean clothes, and her body was laying against the soft grass. Her nose twitched as it smelled something incredible. Lifting herself up, her head ached as she remembered snippets of her dream last night. The darkness, the room, the girl.
But, the dream slowly faded away the more she tried to grasp it. The only thing left was a sentence that echoed in her mind.
¨ Do not disappoint me, child of protogonos.¨
She felt like she heard the name before, but where?
Her mind drifted like usual, finally realizing where the smell was coming from.
Standing up, she walked around the stem of the huge mushroom to see that Alexia had made a little cooking area. She was roasting some animal, slowly turning it on the fire.
¨ what are you making?¨ Loreli asked as she walked up, looking over Alexias' shoulder.
¨ I caught a rabbit and gathered some berries early this morning. I decided to let you rest because of what happened last night.¨ The elf explained, not looking at lorelei.
The blonde slightly grunted, backing up and looking around the area.
The clearing they slept in had the oversized mushroom in the middle, giving the two shades. The area outside of it, though, had the sun beating down on it. The occasional animal would flash by, disappearing as quickly as they appeared.
She wandered off from her travel mate, her mind thinking back to the book Loreli found in Alexia's bag.
¨ hey Alexia, can I look through that journal of yours?¨
Her voice echoed from under the mushroom, her hands holding the journal she briefly skimmed through only a day ago.
The slight grunt from the elf female was all Loreli needed to open the book.
Looking through once more, she realized the sketches weren't really sketches, and they were extremely detailed drawings.
Going page to page, she paid extra attention to the beast she saw.
A creature that looked like a mix of pterodactyl and the jabberwocky in her books
A creature with 3 heads, each a different animal, and a body that looked like a mix of the 3.
Another creature with only one eye, the name Cyclops written above it.
Her eyes skimmed through the passage on cyclopsś, absorbing the info as much as she could.

Weak eyes, amazing hearing, physical attackers, very rare mages, Kingdom of Lingtum.

¨huh. Interesting,¨ Loreli mumbled as she read about the cyclops.
Her mind, like it usually does, drifted off.
I wonder if there's anything on elves?
Flipping through the crisp pages, her eyes caught sight of the words Elves
Looking around the two pages, she examined the detailed sketch of someone similar to Alexia.
Their familiar, lanky, ears sticking out of their chopped hair. They looked female, with a somewhat undercut. Her hair was neatly colored a light brown color, a little lighter than atlas's hair. She had an apron on, with a small engraving of a flame on the top right. Her ears had a piercing of a small dragon shape, and her skin had noticeable tattoos on her arms. She had a smirk on her face, seemingly laughing at something that was said.
